It's fairly easy to install a dashcam. All you need is basic DIY skills. However if that is not available. Hehe! im sure most accessory stores can install that for you.

I just installed a Transcend 520 sa unit ko. Pinadaan ko lang sa taas and gilid na rubber mouldings. hindi naman eyesore yung visible na wire from the dash going to under the G compartment. Ayusin ko pa uli. Will take pics.

Any update on those that have reservations from other dealers for higher variants AWD?

I cancelled already my allocated machine grey PRO sa laguna(allegedly arriving on the 26th of this month, hope someone will get it.

Yung blackvue kasi front and rear camera. Tapos it needs to tap on the fuse box para magamit din yung parking mode nya.

Yun sa fuse box medjo mahirap. Hehe! Live (+) ata ang kailangan dun. I thought simple lighter plug lang.

I was trying to remove the installed plate bracket of my CX-5 to replace it with the one supplied by the dealer. Mukhang riveted or so it seems. I am figuring out if its screwed but am afraid to put some force again into it as something may break!.

How was your plate installed in the front? Customized a souq plate but cant install in the front. Anybody???

I was informed by my Sales Consultant that the all the guys who are going to get their CX-5 released on Sept (the one with the adjusted price, power passenger seat and memory seat function) will be called 2018 CX-5 and should have their PO from the bank changed from 2017 to 2018. Diba its not naman the 2018 release.

The bulk of the reservations made in 2nd quarter just started arriving. What particular variant is he referring to? That info brings confusion to those that have ordered or will be reserving since no info was disseminated in their website or even the tech specs in brochures that was distributed largely to consumers.

Although diba yun ibang manufacturer advance naman talaga sila?
I mean nabibili mo yun 2018 unit around the end of 2017...

It seems like 2017 got delayed at kulang units na-allocate locally... so parang limited edition 2017 models na hehe

Was able to talk to a Mazda SA, and she said that Mazda is really having problems with stocks and allocations this year. in fact she told me that if anybody wants to reserve a CX-5 or CX-9 this month, they would get their allocation by next year already.

I think Mazda didn't anticipate the excise tax and was late in forecasting orders locally.

That's too bad... d ko iniisip ganun kalaki demand ng CX-5 locally... ang konti lang talaga siguro ng allocation nila kung ganun. Let's see if demand tapers off next year.

Do you want a new one? It seems to me that such a color can be found in a used version. I ordered through a good dealer in the states Customs Broker | Canadian Customs Clearance | Import to Canada | Clearit.ca, FWD, color was not important to me, I`ve bought a white one, but in the US you can find any option, I think. And it`s not a problem to import anything nowadays

It definitely will once the excise tax is imposed.

Congrats sir! Paano ang warranty and servicing?

I don't know yet with Mazda but somebody told me that Toyota does not accept servicing of imported units like the Japan surpluses.

The new CR-V is definitely no match to the CX-5. Just bummed that stocks are not available.

CX-5 allocation is going to go up!

Thanks to strong demand, the incoming shipment of CX-5s will increase starting this month, reaching a total of more than 800 units by November.

Good to hear this he he. Was holding off my CX-5 purchase until the CRV's release but went for it anyway.

I just hope there will be some accessories, dealer or otherwise to be available for the new CX5 until end of the year.
