Guaranteed on flat even surfaces without any downhill slopes to help your 1.6 Altis won't reach 200 again.
    So where's the manual Mz2? [emoji23]

I've done 200 more than a dozen times with the Altis on different slopes. It won't reach 200 on an uphill, but a flat road with a wide open throttle in 5th gear will get you there consistently. Also had a 2.0 Altis before (10th gen) and that had no problem breaching 200 either.

Of course, that's not the main reason why I got the Altis. If I wanted the best handling and performance for under a million, I would've gone with the Fiesta Ecoboost. At least that's a locally available car that actually gets to 100 in under 10 seconds and reach 200.

At the end of the day though, the performance spread between these vehicles isn't that large, that it still boils down to the driver, whether on track, on the highway, or on a mountain road.

Yeah, the numbers game. Argument between a guy who has the vehicle and is actually driving the car and another whose looking at specs on paper / screen.

Hearing Jut makes you want a Toyota Corolla instead of a Mazda3.

comparing the numbers on paper is not really an exercise in futility. it has its uses.
but we must remember that, time and again, sometimes they do not quite live up to expectation on the road or track.
actually driving them is still the better judge..

Whatever the numbers are, however the cars perform, look & handle....what matters most is if it floats your boat.

There will always be badge loyalists & there will always be those who are willing guinea pigs.....whatever floats your boat.:D

In as much as I'd love to have that extra kick in my cars, having our roads lost to traffic density will only leave me w/ sleeping horses.
My hobo M3, however, has given me the perfect balance of everything & has been beyond expectations.....in floating my boat.:D

The best thing with Mazda lately is the interior quality and design. Torn between a TOTL Mazda2 hatch or the Mazda3 1.5V.

Hello guys question lang. Ano kayang magcover sa small dent ng m2 ko? Insurance no? Not the mazda warranty.

If it's just a dent w/o deep scratches, just go Paintless Dent Repair/Removal. It's quick, highly likely to be scarless, no worries about color-matching & painless to the pocket, too.

take a picture and upload. show the public the product of that caper.
then sit back and watch them disavow any knowledge of their action.

Well then if these mere talks are all true then I might buy a 1.3 Vios who said can reach 190km/h top speed by some Tsikoteer

If dent can be PDR'd, have it suctioned back by a tool like this:

Quick, scarless, paintless, painless to the eye & pocket.

    Oh, you mean this one:

Of course, downhill yan. On a flat road the Vios struggles to go past 175. With 3 on board, it barely goes past 160.

Where that Tsikoteer actually specified that it was a downhill, and that the Vios only reaches 175 on a flat road?

If your magazine-data mindset still thinks my claims are incredulous, you're free to join me next time I head out to the expressway.

I'm not skeptical at all. I bet you can reach 200km/h on any lower spec variants you wish to steer. Whatever makes you feel good, then 200km/h it is.

AnytiM3, sir. That fix on the pic dint even require getting in the car & tweaking between the roof & the headliner.
Suction & light taps removed whatever sign of that 'fruit-punch' in less than half an hour.

Just sharing, parked my car at Fort around 3am, near Mind Museum across McDo/KFC. Someone parked beside me (M3 SkyActiv Hatch - Grey), the parking was really open as there are only few cars there. Cute lang hihi.
