As far I recall, a 2 liter Altis top speed is at 195 while the top spec Mz3 is at 212 km/h. Referenced C! Magazine April 2014.

Guaranteed on flat even surfaces without any downhill slopes to help your 1.6 Altis won't reach 200 again.
So where's the manual Mz2? [emoji23]

I've done 200 more than a dozen times with the Altis on different slopes. It won't reach 200 on an uphill, but a flat road with a wide open throttle in 5th gear will get you there consistently. Also had a 2.0 Altis before (10th gen) and that had no problem breaching 200 either.

Of course, that's not the main reason why I got the Altis. If I wanted the best handling and performance for under a million, I would've gone with the Fiesta Ecoboost. At least that's a locally available car that actually gets to 100 in under 10 seconds and reach 200.

At the end of the day though, the performance spread between these vehicles isn't that large, that it still boils down to the driver, whether on track, on the highway, or on a mountain road.
