Our Mazda 3 looovvvees the red line! Been revving the hell out of it since day one. Engineered for that so do not worry. Kill joy if I baby this incredible machine. =)

You will have problem finding the perfect shot. Because it is difficult to choose. Every angle is perfect. Can't find ugly shot. =)

Here's the sober hobo's advice. You may or may not follow....

New engines have tight tolerances. Proper break-in is vital for long term engine health. Follow these guidelines for the 1st 1k km:
    -Don't race the engine
-Don't maintain prolonged single constant speed, slow or fast.
-Don't go extended periods of WOT/high RPM
-No full throttle starts nor hard stops.
    -No towing
-Hard break in doesn't always mean abusive....Get it to working temps prior to driving spiritedly.
    -Go easy on the driveline.

Your reward will be an engine with more power and less blow by which means longer life and little or no oil consumption.

Easily solved by TEINitis. Good things with spring rate as close as it can be to stock are less effect on suspension and brake dive. Mazda engineers are so caring, they even designed such that we do not feel dizzy when braking, smooth as silk braking and acceleration. =)

    Hope these are constantly stocked....
    They just complete our Ms.
Wisdom will tell it's better to go proven springs over untested coilies. Good proven coilovers are the most ideal, followed by matched springs+dampers, however,....just no hobo at 3x upwards the cost of springs alone.

Remembered when I was a passenger on my colleague's new City, 30 minutes of drive and braking gave me headaches.

You've been spoiled, your highness. The City was designed a passenger car. Mazda's thrust has always been about the driver & the driving experience. Look at its recent history...from the RXs, MXs, MSs...now Sky. The M3, It's not intentionally coded BMchassis for nothing. Haha. They're a small player, happy to be choking on demand, but they do things differently.....Target market? Mutants....haha

At dahil random na nga yan, eh come what may nalang. Ayun, nung nakuha ko plates ko, 6 ang ending, which is my preferred coding day. Pero oofferan ka nila ng preferred ending number mo for a price, which is considered under the table.
dropped by the dealership today and the agent who was present there told me that their "office" can actually arrange my preferred plate ending for only 5k (as opposed to 15k for both letters and numbers). this means that the LTO process/system is not "random and automated" at all. the new policy is just a clever way for them to get more under-the-table money from the motorists. SMH.

I was driving last night along C5 when a Red Mazda 3 Speed on silver 19s (probably M6 stocks) and a little drop, came from behind. I can't keep my eyes on the curves and how the tail light reflects the red colored led on the back of the hatch's body. Damn! red it is!

to all 1.5 & 2.0 owners out there. did you try to change your stock speakers either bose or Hi Fi speakers with some tweaking the HU? baka lang gumada pa lalo ang sounds nito kumpara sa stock set-up. same lang ba ang HU ng Mz3 speed comes with bose sound system vs. the variant 1.5 and 2.0? TIA

Si MarcYaptinchay naka 2.0R. He changed his speakers to Focal. I've auditioned and malaki improvement from the stock 6 speakers. Our infotainment has bulit-in amp kaya ok pa rin naman speakers kahit stock. HU is the same as Mz3 Speed.
