Mahaba yong byahe from Sta Rita to Cabanatuan at madaming truck na medyo mahirapan ka i-overtake dahil madami kasalubong.
5AM umexit na kami sa Sta Rita and sa oras na yon, medyo madami ng truck.
Mabilis pa din siguro yong via SCTEX then La Paz.

March 21st, 2014 09:42 PM #42Punta din kami sa Baler April 16 (day before Maundy Thursday). Ito din ang napupupusuan kong route base sa google map.
Pero natetempt ako mag Pampanga or Bulacan just for the experience. Plano namin umalis ng Laguna around 2am. Fast driving siguro up to NLEX kasi gusto ko i-timing Cabanatuan or Talavera for breakfast.
Kaso Advisable ba yung Sta Rita ro San Fernando to Cabanatuan sa first time dadaan dun ng madaling araw? Ano mas ok exit San Fernando or Sta. Rita?
Thanks!

April 14th, 2014 11:52 AM #50My neighbor does not suggest taking the Nueva Ecija-Aurora Rd. He went there with his biking buddies and advised me to just use the Pantabangan route. Some parts are not paved yet I think. But if you are into adventure, why not try it.
With regards to distance:
With Sta. Rosa, NE as starting point and using google maps in estimating distance:
via Nueva Ecija -Aurora Rd (Bongabon entry) - 122km
via Pantabangan - 120km
You see, the mountainous path of the road is winding. if you measure the straight line distance from point A to B, the Nueva Ecija-Aurora Road is shorter. But if actual road distance is measured, both roads are not much different in terms of distance from Manila.
There is actually no point in building that road cutting across the mountain except if someone is interested in the trees
I agree. Although I can still use tapatalk but better to have own app, meron before for both IOS...
tapatalk smart phone application.
