The route we had taken was the quickest one - bypassing Lipa. Ang kalaban na lang are the jeepneys, tricycles and MCs who treat the national highway as their side street.

SLEX was smooth all the way to ACTEX. You could feel the difference once you got past ACTEX. Gaspang ng STAR toll way. Though wala namang major lubak, at ginagawa na yung northbound side para di maging salubungan. For some stretches, Ibaan had all the crazy craters, asphalt only on the middle portion of the road with 1 foot un-asphalted on each side, and some sections no asphalt, just concrete. Weird.

depende yan sa time of day.. kung madaling araw ka aalis.. siguro mga 1.5 hours maximum 2 hours kayang kunin.. pag mga past 7 to 8am ka na aalis nang MM.. baka abutin ka na nang 3 to 4 hours.. it's around 130kms if you take Lipa or 140kms if via Ibaan..

But better to take the Ibaan route kung 'gising' na yung Lipa.
