I experienced that hike around 5 years ago. Bring a wide brimmed hat, water and a small towel. Wear booties since the sand on the way up was really loose (at the time). The hike up took more than an hour (I think) & there are steam vents along the way. When you reach the peak, it’s so surreal cause you will see the crater lake framed by Taal lake. We spent a bit of time up there drinking beer before trekking down. The hike down was a lot faster. If you ask me, I would never do it again. Too hot, dusty, tiring... watch your boss. Baka may balak magpakamatay. Btw, Taal erupted a week later.

In that case, I think NCAP is something that they have privatized.
SC (temporarily) stops NCAP
