One time we were doing Malipunyo-Manabu. I've been to the area several times so I know easy climb. Naka mojos lang ako. Yun pala may bagong trail traverse diretso Biyak na Bundok. It was raining the whole time pa so very muddy. I opted to trek barefoot na lang with better grip than the sandals haha

Sayang din iyang mojos brand kasi Sobra tibay ng sandals nila. Last year ko lang pinalitan iyong akin considering early 2000s pa ata purchase date nun.

Nowadays i think kung may makita ka man na mojos puros flip flops na lang ata benta nila

Mojos are ok for light and well-traversed trails like Daang Kastila, but when taking the other trails of Taal, unless you are a local, you need proper shoes. See those green/brown plants in the distance? Those are what the locals call "aroma", large shrubs with hard branches filled with thorns and spikes growing up to 2 inches long and can puncture a leather boot straight through.

It really had more grip on the trail than the midsole.[emoji854]

Hindi ako nakabangon, hinahanap na ko ng boss ko. He needs me to print some documents hehe.

Grabe endurance ng boss ko! Super physically fit. He didn't even need 24 hrs to recover

We observed nga majority ng Asians (Filipino, Korean, Taiwanese and Chinese etc) naka horse pero yung mga puti enjoy sa lakad. WTF sobrang init. Meron nga dun looking 50s parang enjoy pa

Pababa naglakad na ko kasi hirap sa horse natatakot ako mahulog sa steep parts. Towards the end parang hihimatayin na ko. There was steam on the ground grabe.

Nagka realization nga ko sobrang lampa ko, though not at much as my friend na horse akyat baba hahaha. Wala kasi ako exercise tapos overweight pa

You'll get the hang of it. Just 10-20 min. of brisk walking a day on a treadmill would be great exercise.

    OT:

My first pair of mojos lasted me years. Kasi sila yung mga naunang may concept ng reuse. Once naubos ang swelas, balik lang ako sa tindahan to have it resoled for a cheap price compared to buying a new pair. Lasted my whole uni life.

Sayang nga the brand. Support local pa.

If walang treadmill kahit na walking lang sa Mall for about 30-40 minutes will be enough, basta tuloy-tuloy lang ang lakad na deretso, after walking tsaka mag shopping or kain na hahaha.

Fitbit motivated me to do this. Nakaka challenge eh. Until walking/moving becomes integral to your daily activities already.

I have no problem walking. I hate to park that's why I usually just walk to places. Mahirap lang talaga kasi katirikan ng araw at 11 am saka sobra alikabok at bato. Iba rin pala talaga pag hindi flat at sand ang nilalakaran My boss' first reaction when he saw me today "you're sunburned" Buti namula lang ako but it looks ridiculous that my whole face is red
