Could it really have just been an alignment issue, knowing it took multiple back and forth with Toyota Casa to correct it?
I recall the current gen Montero's that arrived original had an "alignment" issue and it really had to do with the steering being biased to one direction that they MMPC had to resolve for those initial units of production they got. It "should have" been corrected in the succeeding batches.
So for this Fortuner to not "drive straight" eventhough it is bnew leads me to believe the issue wasn't related to alignment or even balancing, but rather the "centering" of the steering maybe being biased towards one direction? Just a guess.
