nako bitin ang budget mo for tires. i got my 225/45/17 potenza g3 tires at 6200 each 2 years ago. and to think na 17s palang yun.

I had 235/40r18s on my Camry. I think Dunlop LM702s would cost around P6-7K. China-made 225/40r18s go for around P4-4.5K/piece if you're really on a budget.

You can get chinese or Gajah Tunggal (don't know if they have those sizes) if you're on a budget. As long as you're not looking for maximum performance, they're okay. Decent grip, terrific treadwear... medyo maingay nga lang.
I don't really know kung sasayad... depende sa offset ng rims yun... but they should fit. The Si gets 215/45-17s and the Type-R gets 225/40-18 tires. I'm not sure if the fenders are different in the back, but they look the same in front. One tuner company fit 245s in (probably with some fender rolling), so 225s shouldn't be that big a deal.

225s should fit. i've seen a civic in our office rolling on the DC5 rims with a decent drop. it looks really nice tucked in the wheel wells.
