I have a BEIGE Toyota Altis 2011 (Gen 10.5???) and was wondering what ROTA mags will make the car look good (size, color and any other specs I missed out on). Rota because I am on a tight budget.

Also, I would like to lower the car, let's say a drop of 1.5. What is a good brand of lowering springs to buy that will not be too costly? And where to purchase it from? I live in QC. From what I gather, lowering springs are cheaper than coil-overs.

    Thank you.

^^^ H&R is quite popular among owners of lowered cars. They are cheaper than Eibach or Bilstein. Check the price in Speedlab to get a price comparison.

If you have the stock 15" rims, a good budget upgrade is to get the OEM 16"rims from the V model (the 5-spokes).

I agree with Vinj, the 16" V rims are a great upgrade without spending too much.

Personally though, I think the 17" TRD rims look really good for the 2011-13 Altis:

You can pair this with Eibach lowering springs which are around 11-13k bnew and around 8-9k secondhand for a 1.2-1.5" drop.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I'm inclined towards the 17 inch rims upgrade. It makes the car look better.

I just might have to save a little more for the coilovers. Some friend suggested that I will be better off getting the coilovers than just lowering springs since there's no guarantee that my stock shocks would hold.

    Your thoughts on this?

    Thanks!

As with anything, you get what you pay for. There are good and bad coil overs. Good ones will cost more. If budget is tight, you may want to consider sports shocks with springs.

No. What tires do you have?

Could also be bengkong rims if you bought them secondhand. Check the inside of the rim to see any unevenness.

sabihin na lang natin na may gulong na maingay, merong tahimik.
kaya minsa pag nagbasa ka ng features na gulong, mababanggit dun yung "reduced tire noise"

204 ba talaga sir or 205? Hehe anyway, maingay din po yan federal 595. Can't say kung sino sa kanila ni westlake sv308 ang mas maingay but they do have the same deep humming sound.

Help. Any info would be appreciated. Chevrolet Spark 2011. MT. 155/70R14 (no idea what this means, but i think this is the size of my tires).

The chrome plating of my stock rims have started to peel/chip off and the iron/steel rims are showing.
    1. Are these rims still usable? Is this just an aesthetic issue?
    2. Since replacement mags/tires don't usually carry this size, what's the next best size? I don't like those tires that stick out of the car looking like an ATV with oversized wheels. I just want the next (widely) available mag size.

    Thanks!

Konti na lang parang magkakaron ka na ng leak nyan ah.

Next available size na madami makukuha for tire is 165 65 r14

Pero mahirap ba talaga makahanap ng current size mo? Have you tried checking sa Evangelista Makati?

I can't really tell sa pics mo need nyan makita sa loob.

No need to change your tires pa naman. Hanap ka lang ng mags 14 inch kung makikitang may butas na that can leak later

    Hi All,

Good Day! makikisali nadin sa usapan since newbie lang ako pagdating sa sasakyan. Kasi tinanggal ko yung hubcap ng 2016 Mirage G4 ko (175/65/14) stock. as ko sana, san mura (specific shop) makakabili ng rims lang para sa stock na goma ko.
