haay already bought a set of nankang tires 195/55/15, nalubak ayun wala na, nagkahiwa siya sa side surface, no choice ako kundi magpalit ulit ng nankang ulit, now gusto ko ng mapudpud to lahat para babalik na ako michelin (my previous tyres)

wag niyong isipin na gusto niyo makamura, dahil lalo lang kayo mapapamahal pag magtitipid kayo.

Dun sa mga gumagamit ng mga mura at halos never heard na brand at nagsasabing grippy at makapit/matibay, tanong lang, sinasagad niyo ba ang tire to extremes like full hard acceleration, hard braking at fast cornering? Nagtatanong lang po.

My brother is using a pair on his AE111 and he's planning to get another pair soon to complete the set. He bought them almost a year ago. La naman problems on his frequent trips to Highlands.

Very good point A to point B tires. Quiet, comfortable and long lasting (like Goodyear Duraplus though not stated/claimed by Kumho). Stock tires of my Accent.

Cons: Not very grippy on speedy driving.

Just bought a set of KH17s. So far most quiet tires I had compared to Hankook Centum na stock, Maxxis Victra, Nankang NS2, Toyo DRB, Yoko Decibel, Neuton Solace. (Next sa low noise level sa lineup is Toyo DRB, Yoko dB, Neuton - yun iba maingay na in high speed). Have to test and know pa the treadwear kung okay din.

Hi! I'm looking for the same tire size for my 2008 Sportage. The prices you quoted are a bit lower than what I got from certain shops here in the south (Muntinlupa area). Saang shops yung napag-canvassan mo?

    Thanks!

Bridgestone (pasong Tamo extension) in front of Toyota
    Bridgestone Dueller 687 Php 6,392
    Bridgestone Turanza ER30 Php 6,956

Di ko lang ma remember kung ito ung sa pagbaba mo ng Tramo Flyover (from EDSA to Domestic Airport), or ung tyre shop along Sucat road
    Yokohama Geolander Php 5,984

Ung next tyre shop pagbaba mo ng Tramo Flyover
    AEOLUS Php 3,360

Ang binili ko ung AEOLUS AS02 Utility ACE, tahimik naman at ok ang grip, last week pumunta kami ng nueva viscaya ok naman sa pag akyat at baba sa area ng dalton pass.

We have the same ride, Kia Sportage 2008 4x4 DSL. My oem tires were Hankook optimo K406 (235/60/R16 100H) which I would be changing tomorrow kasi pudpud na, at 66000 Kms. It has served me well. Very seldom did I get flat tires. If I remember right, only in the last 2 years. The only minor complaints perhaps would be the bumpy ride and the harder steering.
I did my research and these are the quoted prices I got:
Hankook Optimo K415 (ito daw pumalit sa K406) p6060 cash/card Tire depot at SM Las Pinas
Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 p5700 cash at a big tire dealer at NAIA road before reaching SM Sucat (sorry, name escapes me)
Yokohama Geolander GO51 HTS p5950 cash/card at Yokohama Sucat
Yokohama Geolander GO51 HTS p6300 card p5990 cash at Yokohama Makati.
Quoted prices are inclusive of mounting and balancing, except the tinga, around p400 for a set of 4 tires.
I would be going to Yokohama Sucat tomorrow to have my tires changed.

Thanks, citydriver. Di pala standard ang pricing sa yokohama? Option ko pa naman din yun and the nearest one to me is Yokohama in Calamba.
And akala ko bawal na sa DTI ang pagtataas ng price if card ang gagamitin.

What made you choose the Geolander pala? Feedback sa initial performance hah, esp the road noise.

Thanks again, and congrats sa new shoes!

Nexen tires are ok, quiet and durable. I got mine at Jiga tire supply. Great shop.
