Alam ba ng shop na bibilihan mo ng rims and gulong ang match or recommended na sukat sa kotse mo?

Most reputable shops ay alam na ang stock size, bolt pattern at offset ng rims mo just by looking at your vehicle dahil malamang nakapag install na sila sa similar car. Unless gusto mo ng wider diameter or different offset ng rims then I suggest better test fit mo na lang.

    usually, yes.
but i would still recommend you look for the recommended specs. the owner's manuals usually mention them. baka kasi yung baguhan sa shop ang ma-datnan nyo.
google also helps, if you know your way around it.

Salamat sa Input mga Sir. Actually, diko naman talaga type yung mga malalapad na gulong. same size lang din gusto kase, nabasa ko online na di basta nagpapalit ng rims and wheels kase pwede maapektuhan yung suspension etc.

Nalilito lang kase ako dito sa site na to, Rim & Tire Size Calculator. Custom Offsets - Wheel-Size.com - wheel and rims calculator sya, so diko maintindihan hahaha. kaya tinanong ko dito. Kung most likely nman alam nila sa shop then wala nmn siguro magiging problema.

PS. Since mirage hatch kotse ko, ang nakalagay lang sa manual eh yung size ng stock na gulong for both trim models. So diko alam kung yung stock na '15 ng GLS model eh pwede sa GLX which is '14 kase, yung lower trim model eh walang stabilizer bar, so baka matagtag pag manipis na gulong ang ilagay. Pero same width nmn.

    Salamat ng marami.

that is what the tire calculator is for, po.
input the numbers for the 15 inch, and those for the 14 inch. you will then be able to compare the diameters and circumferences. the closer they are to each other, the closer the odometer and speedometer readings will be to each other, should you choose to replace tires. it will also give you an idea on which tire size will probably not rub against the wheel well and body.
but as since both tire sizes are factory, i expect very minimal differences in diameter and circumference. they should be inter-exchange-able.

the calculator is used to see just how far your choice of aftermarket tire size will be, from the factory spec.

thank you. So napansin ko nga may odo and speed reader sa calculator. Question, how does that affect the odo and speedometer reading?

Pasensya na first time kase. hehe. pero malaki tulong to, salamat

if you use a tire with smaller circumference than factory spec, your odometer will give more km traveled than the truth, and your speedometer will give you higher speed than the truth.

most car manufacturers use tires that are commercially available to you and me. if not that brand in particular, at least the tire size and aspect ratio, but different brand.

..."makapal na rubber..."? read on aspect ratio, po. the explanation is long, but the diagrams google will give, make it easier to understand.

according to their infomercial, they claim to supply the bulk of the oem requirements of the philippine automotive industry.
during the automotive dark ages, when the only brand-new car in the market was the box lancer, they were supplying the mags of that car.

Pero when we had the big body, i was surprised to see that the oem wheel has a rota stamp on.

Spacers are meant to reduce offset or bring your wheels out closer to fenders. Avoid the universal ones. Sample of a 4pc set of 5mm pcd 4x108/63.4 hub:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074R...LxL&ref=plSrch
Beyond 5mm thickness, go for longer the lugs. Sample of a 15mm thick set w/ longer lugs...
    https://m.ebay.com/itm/H-R-Trak-DRS-...-/183188978468

Hubcentric rings are meant to adapt your aftermarket wheel's hub bore to the ecosport's 63.4mm hub diameter to prevent vibrations at speed. If your new wheels have the common 73.1mm hub bore, choose 73.1-63.4mm hubcentric or spigot rings like this set...
    https://www.amazon.com/Hubcentric-Ri.../dp/B00F3QTYSU
Always choose alloy over polycarbonate ones.

Anytime, sir. I haven't backread so I dunno what your plans are....just measure the offset required properly to find the perfect wheels or determine the spacer thickness needed. If you can go wothout spacers, it's more ideal.

Got a Ford Ecosport Ambiente, planning to change my stock metal rim 15" 4x108 pcd to mags/alloy with the same specs, my stock tire is 195x65 (yan narin sana gamitin ko which is still 90%) done a lot of internet searching, most of the models i like are 4x100 and 4x114, am hesitant to use spacer, check ko na lang muna siguro concept one shop and mags shops along Banawe
