    A quick repair from the Dunlop Center(not in m. manila)

    Nail head was severed off, sharp end was left and it was in the middle tread. 20psi this morning. At first the guy was saying no bubbles including the tyre valve. So I told him to increase the tyre pressure. Lo and behold really small bubbles were super slowly forming.

    1. scuff surface and clean off inside aka prep surface
    2. tyre glue, and let it dry
    3. set patch
    4. roller out air

    Hmmm.. medyo newbie yung repair guy nila.. SOP dapat na increase tire pressure to check for leaks

    hhmm if im losing 2-3 psi monthly, may leak na kaya yun na ganyan kaliit?
    kaso halos lahat ng gulong ko ganun eh O_o

    wala yan bro normal yang ganyan kapag on a monthly basis lahat sila pamtay magbawas.

    ang hint sa ganyan para malaman mo kung alin yung may maliit na leak is kung alin yung may pinaka malaki usually 4psi and up difference ang bawas sa hangin once nag refill ka

    btw ok lang ba di palitan yung PITO ba yun, kahit more than 6 years old na yun rims?

    BTW, OT ito pero share ko lang yung napanood ko kanina.

    Tumakbo naman! although yung 2nd, sigurado deformed yung rim/magwheels mo diyan pag tagal.

    it's rare to find a competent tire tech they jack your car at the wrong points. they don't allow enough time for rubber cement to dry. they don't use bead lubricant. their gauges are incorrect. they scratch your rims. they over-torque your lug nuts.

    Who uses rubber cement for tire puncture?

    AFAIK, there is a reason it is called "vulcanize". No adhesives needed because the vulcanization process is a chemical reaction thing.

    vulcanization, from the god of fire vulcan. needless to say lots of heat and sulfur etc. turns natural rubber etc into tires that don't melt into a gloopy mess

    when you get a puncture you don't do this process again. you just stick on a patch. see youtube. you really don't wanna heat up a tire to patch it

    S&R tire service.. don ako parati nagpapa vulcanize.. and if you buy your tires with them, free ang vulcanizing and nitro for the life of the tires..
