Have you ever imagined an LPG-converted Kia Picanto 1.1? would it par on hybrid cars in terms of fuel consumption?

Fuel consumption will not change (much) when shifting fuels from gasoline to LPG.

What will go down will be the COST of fuel. But you will have to consider the initial cost of installing the LPG kit. You might not recover the cost of the LPG kit within 3 to 4 years (unless the Picanto travels more than 350km per week).

Although i've seen 1.6 taxis like a Pizza GLXi Mitsubishi and a Corolla GLi. Ewan ko nga lang kung LPG-powered since walang "LPG" stickers sa likod.

Its a good bet that most of the taxi cabs in metro manila have converted to using LPG.

NAIADSS install the LPG filling nozzle hidden behind the fuel filler door. Other installers install the LPG filling nozzle right on the side of the fender or bumper near the gasoline filling door.

    saan mo ilalagay ang tangke...

why picanto, e kung yung tig-660cc na suzuki micro vans/trucks kaya..

well, kung ganun, parang di feasible...di naman titipid ang sasakyan, babalang cost ng fuel,e....

A modified tank siguro pwede to fit at the back. But hindi ba bibigat yung picanto because of the LPG? And considering the cost to install it. Baka pareho lang lalabas. But for me I don't want a LPG tank kahit sa anong sasakyan. I saw the Picanto taxi din. A white one.

Is there even a tank small enough that will fit a car that size? Even if there is, you'd get lower fuel bills but at the cost of losing whatever little storage space it has. What with its tiny 1.1L engine, fuel consumption should already be low as it is.

why do you have to convert to lpg when the picanto already has good fuel mileage? i think there is no need to convert to lpg.

THe only way to save more is to buy a 50 cc scooter.

How about a 1 liter diesel Picanto?

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Yes of course to save more. Sa highway lang naman malakas ang savings ng mga small cars. Sa city nakakapareho na rin. Eh kung sa city ka madalas?

oh so hindi pala mas matipid if LPG ang gamit. akala ko mas efficient if LPG kasi it's already in vapor form even before the combustion stroke diba? and it's fuel in vapor form and not in liquid form which actually burns/combusts.
