    onga. saw kia's new warranty scheme a few days ago in their website. so tatlo na sila ngayon na may 5-year warranty: hyundai, kia & chery.

    Good move by Kia. It was about time they follow sister company Hyundai who had it I think since 2007...

    the 5 year warranty started only after they raised their prices from 20K for the picanto to over 100K for the sportage and carnival from their stated prices 2 months ago. So the extra 2 year warranty came with a "price". Kia is now more expensive than hyundai, model to model.

    My 2009/2010 Sportage got 5yrs or 160k km warranty...Good to have this scheme. Panalo compare to other brand.

    nope. paint scratches aren't covered by the warranty.
