June 29th, 2009 01:23 AM #5the 5 year warranty started only after they raised their prices from 20K for the picanto to over 100K for the sportage and carnival from their stated prices 2 months ago. So the extra 2 year warranty came with a "price". Kia is now more expensive than hyundai, model to model.
