The only negatives I’ve heard about this car is the badge & the price (not only in the Philippines). The others are all positives. Given the sales figures, I don’t see this surviving the chopping block. But, if I may be bold enough to predict, I think this car will eventually be one people will try to get their hands on in the future. A lot of people want it but don’t want to spend good money for it.

Another negative - it has small rear windows which lessens rear ward visibility.

I don’t see the price as bad since the price of cars within the same performance level is much more than what Kia is asking for.

It’s really the brand name that sets people off. There will always be bias against brands not German or Japanese or American.

*bloo - you should try it for a spirited run on open roads. My FXT is already quick against most rides on the road but this Stinger is on a different league. EQ says it’s as quick on a straight like the Mustang GT 5.0L.

That's prolly true Master Jut. Even the unit we test drove was one of only 3 units for the whole province of Pampanga, I was told. People are simply not buying them in any significant number.

It's a shame really, the Stinger GT is well worth the accolades.
