Yep, they're quite easy to maintain. Only thing I've noticed is the a/c filter gets clogged easily. Won't last a year. I just removed the filter. The Nissan Patrol gets by without one, I don't see why the Picanto can't. hehehe. Btw, I always use the a/c in recirculate mode in both vehicles so as not to introduce outside pollutants into the system.

Other than the vandalism incident and minor dents and scrapes (newbie driver, stuff happens), the car is in excellent shape. Inside, there is a small rattle on the driver's lock knob but that may have been due to the installation of the aftermarket alarm and not Kia factory quality.

The stock radio also has an aux in capability (just buy an RCA to baby jack cable which costs around Php75.00) and you can plug in your iPod or other mp3 player and play through the car's sound system. Plugging in the RCA cable does require pulling the radio out. Not a difficult thing to do. The radio surround is just held by clips and the radio itself is just held by four screws.

    Hi Guys!
Anong km/l (fuel efficiency) ng mga picanto nyo?
Kwento ko lang.. My 2008 picanto is 6mos old, 4000km na. I've kept track of my km/l. Dati I've registered around 13-15km/l for city driving. But lately I've been getting 10-11km/l nalang :-(
Bakit kaya bumaba? Wala namang changes in my way of driving.. Wala rin akong pinagawa, just clutch fluid para lumambot yung clutch.. Pinalitan din ng service center yung hangin ng tires from 28 to 30. I thought baka eto yung culprit so I changed back to 28.. No improvement pa rin.. Ano ba tamang tire inflation?
Sana you can share your insights on this guys.. Nakakalungkot na bumababa ang fuel efficiency ng pica ko.. :-(

    30 is ok.

baka marumi na yung air filter mo (yung sa engine).
