Yes, I understand bro. I meanth even for the Pallisade or the Telluride, the 2.2 diesel of Hyundai is sufficient enough as long as you don’t tow a trailer. I know that the engine is. More than able for towing, something whities are particular about. But, I’m not sure if the Telluride gets that engine since I saw in reviews that the Telluride is offered only in the US. It isn’t even offered in Korea or Australia.

I am with you bro. A bigger engine will be welcome. For 3M, I will just get something with 300hp or more.

IMO that's still almost the same size. Styling changes alone like different bumpers and fenders will easily account for that, actual wheelbase increase is like 1 inch.
Unless you need the third row (which is arguably cramped in a vehicle the size of the Sorento then I'd take the Santa Fe, which has more interior room for passengers due to the omission of a third row.

    Kia Sorento:
    Headroom (1st/2nd/3rd Row): 40.3 / 39.1 / 36.8 inches
    Legroom (1st/2nd/3rd Row): 41.4 / 41.7 / 29.6 inches
    Shoulder Room (1st/2nd/3rd Row): 59 / 58 / 53 inches
    Hip Room (1st/2nd/3rd Row): 55.5 / 55 / 42.5 inches
    Seating Capacity: 7 people
    Passenger Volume: 105.3 cubic feet

    Santa Fe:
Head Room (first/second row): 41.2/39.0 inches
Leg Room (first/second row): 44.1/41.7 inches
    Seating Capacity: 5 people
    Passenger Volume: 111.5 cubic feet

May third row lahat variant ng latest Santa Fe dito sa Pinas.
2nd row only variant is not offered in Pinas.
I think US/other known markets yung may 2nd row variant.

Yung Sta Fe SWB version ang common although meron din silang LWB.

New look na po ba yung outgoing KIA?

Na replace na kasi ng new model yung sa KIA site.

Edit: Nakita ko na, this promotion was indication that they still have old stock and the new look stock last 2022.
Promotion | Utility | Kia Philippines | detail

Mahal nga new look, at least 2.4m base model.
So sa 400k discount, 2.0m last price ng base model.

I initially thought the new look can be had from 2.1m so good deal sana yang 400k discount.
