I made the deposit in February, on the last day of the promo and was promised a mid-May delivery. Last time I spoke to the agent, he said that it looks like their release is on schedule. They were already able to release some units around the same time dudyman got his unit.

Hopefully I really get the unit in May. Where did you make your reservation?

Made the 100k deposit last December (Acropolis). Was told that I will be included in the release of the 1st batch. When that didn't happen, the agent apologized and promised to include free 3M tints, including the whole windshield.

The 2nd batch should be released before May. But last week, he informed me that it seems highly unlikely because of Conduction Sticker related problems. Oh well, maybe they might offer me free LTO registration for this second delay.

Yeah my agent from Wheels Makati called me and said if I paid the 70k more they can release me a unit right away (different color from what I ordered). duh!!!!!!! I reserved Jan 2. I was polite but told him to please get me my unit at the price we agreed on. Sheesh.

Anyway I'm not in a hurry. If they piss me off I may just cancel and get a Honda Odyssey or splurge on an Alphard.

Well, it's a good thing pala I didnt pull out my reservation from BGC and transfer it to Acropolis. After I placed my reservation, I called Acropolis to ask if they had a display unit. They said they didnt the agent tried to convince me to transfer my reservation to them, promising me that they'd release the unit in April (the 1st batch). I doubted that they could do that so I stuck with BGC. Hope BGC doesnt disappoint and delivers when they said they'd deliver.

Hope they do deliver yours soon.

The 70k more will be deducted from the cost of the unit right? Kasi if not, it sounds like they're asking for a bribe or something.

I really don't get to use the 4th row. Without it, it's got 8 seats but the problem is the jump seat since there's no headrest but for our needs, I prefer that configuration since it's like having captain seats for the 2nd and 3rd row with the jump seats folded

Are the seats made of stain resistant cloth?

I saw that it has the "Yes Essentials" tag, so it's still stain resistant for 2016. Although the cloth and interior color is now cream/beige. 2015 model was light gray.

Saw one on the road earlier today, If I'm not mistaken, it came from either Kia Congressional or Kia Commonwealth based on the sticker on the back glass

Just wanted to check if anyone who was able to reserve got their unit? Reserved last Dec and was told to expect an
early April delivery, which became late April, which became mid May and now it is June already. Dealer keeps saying it
is due to the shipment issues of Kia Philippines but they also offered me a unit if I got inhouse insurance. This is really
getting frustrating.

Can the 2 jump seats be removed? We won't ever use these so might as well remove them to widen the aisle.

I'm pretty sure it can be removed. The good thing is, the isle is pretty wide even with the jumpseat folded

Has anyone with reservation for the 11 seater model been approached by their dealers with an option of getting their unit earlier than promise only if you get like in house insurance or accessories from them.

How am I to trust my dealership that I am really in line if you can bribe them anyways.

I also experience this with other brand and model.

Yep. I was approached with a similar offer . I said no way. So I still don't have my unit.

Mine was a different story. They said my unit will get released early if I pay in cash since it would take longer if we go with a bank P.O.

I reserved in December during the promo and dealer said my unit is available. But we are having a hard time deciding whether to proceed because the configuration of the old model, which we have, is so much superior. With the old model you can fold flat all or part of the third row, and remove all or part of the second row. The people+cargo carrying flexibility is unmatched by any other van in the market. We've carried whole sheets of plywood with all chairs flat or removed. We've gone on long trips with mountain bikes inside plus 6 or 7 passengers. We regularly carry large folding tables and 2 dozen plastic chairs without having to remove the second row of seats. The new model is so limited in its ability to carry cargo, and so we are torn between replacing or keeping our old model which is already 8 years old and 105T km and will have to be replaced soon. Confused!

Boss can the 4th row be removed totally? If so, can the 3rd row be adjusted backwards to have more legroom between the 2nd and 3rd row?

Also does the cargo area have luggage space?
