    Hi attorney,

I also didn't put seat covers. Will leave it as is. I've been driving it everyday for 2 weeks now, no denim stains so far. IMHO, we don't need to treat the seats with 3M Scothgard. Our seats are made from YES Essentials Fabric (there are tags on every seat). It is anti-stain, anti-odor, and antistatic. And it's permanent! (so they claim )

I didn't know that. That's good to know. I wont be needing seatcovers then! Interesting Tech.

If your drivers buy imitation jeans at Divisoria then there is a possibility that they will stain your seats. Cheap dye is used to color imitated jeans.

Hi! I am deciding among the SG Hilux, Starex Gold and the Carnival. The Carnival's price just went down to around 1.6M. Anyone can help me with reliability and driving experience with the Carnival? Thanks!

The Carnival has a better ride than the Starex I think - sarap matulog sa likod kung pasahero ka. It absorbs road bumps well but it doesn't wallow through corners. I'm surprised how punchy the engine is given the weight of the vehicle - sans passengers anyway. Also matipid sa fuel. From a full tank, I've driven it 400-km including city traffic and I'm down to half tank. That's great considering I can barely get to 300-km on a full tank of gas on my daily driver - a Subaru FXT.

I had the previous version. Reliability for the engine and tranny are good. The electric doors have issues with the small electric motors every other year or so but they are easily replaced under warranty. This was for the previous version. Not so sure about the much better and newer version. The engine is tried and tested though as its the same one used in the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento.

. Beside a Note 5 for size comparison

Here it is installed. It's fantastic. Looks amazing. The steering wheel controls don't work though. But no biggie.

Sound is much better than stock.

It's really fast and the screen is superb

    To owners of 11 seater,

How does the Grand Carnival's 2nd row and 3rd row legroom compare to the current crop of midsize SUVs when the 4th row is stowed?

We're in a market for 7+seaters but my parents are kind of dissatisfied with the legroom offered by the current crop of 7-seater PPV's. I haven't seen the actual unit yet, but I would like to hear your opinions if this could offer more space and comfort for them at the backseat. Hope you can enlighten me. TIA!

The legroom and hiproom in the 11 seater carnival is much much better than that of the current crop of 7 seater SUVs. Comfort is much better as well. Different class and market for this vehicle.

Hi, did you purchase a dash panel for the joying Hu? Any updates on the joying? The steering controls still don't work? I'm planning on getting one but the guy at joying said I needed a dash panel and compatible wiring harness, which they don't have.
