hindi ako nakatulog ng ilang buwan kaka-research ng bibilhin... tapos hindi rin ako nakatulog habang nag-aantay sa sporty... kala ko makakatulog na ako pagdating! ang dami pa pala dapat isipin like paint protection, cleaning materials, additional rustproofing (?), accessories, mods, read the manual, and so on! whew! haha!

may UNIOIL na sa Kalayaan (QC) ! malapit na magbukas. masusubukan ko na rin ang Euro IV na diesel.

hindi pa rin nasagot mga tanong ko tungkol diyan sa euro IV diesel. mga sirs na nakakaalam, please enlighten us.

1. pag maganda ba for the environment, maganda rin for our crdi engines?

kasi sabi nila,

lower sulfur content = good for the environment and bad for diesel engines
higher sulfur content = good for the diesel engines and bad for the environment

2. yung big three, kahit euro II lang ang diesels, mas mataas daw ang standards or mas strict sa handling ng fuels nila kaya mas siguradong mas malinis compared to unioil at iba pang di kasali sa big three. careless daw ang employees sa ibang companies kaya mas marami contaminants ang fuels nila.
sabi po ito ng mga car owners na involved sa fuel business. may point po sila diba? (nabasa ko sa santa fe owners forum yata)

this is why hati pa rin ang mga car owners sa paggamit ng euro IV diesel.

Share ko lang fc ko mga sirs. Thetta II , 60% highway (filinvest slex to carmona exit) /40% city bf and madrigal alabang area. Sa highway ave speed 80-100, pag clear ang kalsada 140-150 pitik pitik lang.

Yon old school diesel engine ang mahirapan sa low sulfur content fuel yata, kasi lessen yon lubricate function needed sa ibang parts, thats what i've read. Pero sa crdi engine natin, modern design na, kasama na rin siguro sa design niya ang pag gamit ng low sulfur content diesel.

Yon sa fuel handling ang mahirap malaman, sana may mag conduct ng sarili fuel quality test para malaman ang fuel quality ng mga gas station.

Local sportage mo wala siya DPF (diesel particulate filter) kaya ok lang maggamit ka ng euro II or euro IV diesel.

Update: Dinala ko yun Sportage kahapon sa Kia Congressional. Nakibalita ako sa kanila, may another case ng hard starting nung pinalitan yun fuel filter.

Sabi nila gusto nila makita yun original fuel filter, mabuti nalang naitago ko. Kanina inexamine nila yun old and new fuel filter. Magkaiba yun laman sa loob kahit Mobis din yun new fuel filter.

Binalik yun old fuel filter then ayun! back to normal starting. Pati FC balik sa dati.

Ibabalik nila sa planta yun new fuel filter para maghanap ng match dun sa old. Dalawang Sportage na kami sa Kia Congressional na nagkaganun.

Bakit kaya ganun yung new fuel filter eh Genuine Parts din naman yun. Hindi kaya fuel filter ng GDi yun?

Ano LED ng dome and plate lights natin? Hindi daw ito ung ordinary LED eh.

Hi Sir SG, so ibig po sabihin lahat ng casa ganyan din ang available na fuel filter. Paano po malalaman ang difference nilang 2?

Hindi ako sure pero most likely oo. Sa 30,000km PMS pa naman papalitan ang fuel filter. Hindi ko pa alam kung ano difference nung dalawa. Aalamin ko pag dumating na yun kapalit na fuel filter.

Para po sana magkaroon ng idea malapit na rin po ang 22,500 PMS ng unit ko. Sir, how much nga po pala inabot ng 22,500 PMS mo? Thank you po.

Nasa P6,000 inabot ng 22,500km PMS ko before. Sa labas ako kumuha ng parts at oil. Labor lang sa Kia Congressional.

Meron na po b nagkaproblem sa inyo sa shifting? kagabi kc, ndi ko malipat from park to N, R , D.nung pinindot ko ung shift/lock/release, naka 5 to 6 times bago ko malipat.tpos nung nilagay ko ulit sa park naglock na nman...then may clicking sound ako naririnig sa may steering wheel. plano ko dalhin sa casa mamya para macheck.. thankyou for ur replies..

I am not sure if pareho ang problema ng sf 2.5 gen. Yung brake light switch check mo. May connection kasi yan sa pag release ng transmission.

When my unit was 1 month old, na-puncture rear tire ko ng metal rod. Replaced with same Kumho from Roadstar Alabang, around 8K yata

Meron na po b nagkaproblem sa inyo sa shifting? kagabi kc, ndi ko malipat from park to N, R , D.nung pinindot ko ung shift/lock/release, naka 5 to 6 times bago ko malipat.tpos nung nilagay ko ulit sa park naglock na nman...then may clicking sound ako naririnig sa may steering wheel. plano ko dalhin sa casa mamya para macheck.. thankyou for ur replies..

This is incorrect. You can shift to reverse or drive with the footbrake applied. And you can still move, though with resistance. This happened to me a couple of times when my unit was new. Was used to a handbrake.

Tama ito. Most likely brake light switch yan. Pareho ng brake light switch ang Tucson iX, Sportage at SF gen 2.5
