hindi ko matandaan kung na post na ito dito or hindi pa. share ko lang ang info na nakuha ko

1. meron daw alarm ang sorento. alam nyo kung meron sya shock sensor or sa pagbukas lang ng pinto sya mag alarm? kasi ang style ngayon, binabasag lang ang salamin para kunin ang laman ng sasakyan.

2. meron din daw immobilizer.

3. meron sila offer zero interest at 50% downpayment. kalimot ko kung ilang years, parang 3 years yata.


alam nyo magkano ang insurance ng sorento? kasi libre ang 1st year. curious ako kung magkano na sya after that. with acts of God sana kung alam nyo.

sir jaeger, napansin ko lang dun sa pic ng sorento mo.... meron bang ilaw dun sa likod [bumper?]... yung akin kasi wala.... reflector lang.

sir dcph172, sabi ng mga second row passengers ko, mahina daw ang labas ng aircon sa second row vents, compared sa third row vents.... so kapag mainit talaga sa labas, pinabubukas sa akin yung sa a/c rear switch, hangang makabawi at lumamig sa loob.

Mahina nga buga nang AC sa 2nd row comapare sa 3rd kasi may sariling air control yung 3rd row..

sir what if ma hose ung engine bay. nde naman babad s baha. kunware my hose ka ng tubeg kc nililines mo ung engine bay. ok lang ung ganong klaseng basa sa ecu? o bawal talaga xia mabasa?

Kahit na sealed unit ang mga ECU, water seepage goes through the wire harness entering the ECU and might short-out the contacts. Better, balutin mo na lang ng plastic bag yung ECU bago mo i-hose clean, just to be on the safe side.

Also, when you you plan to hose-clean your engine bay, and remove the top engine cover to clean the comonrail and injector area, make sure they are thoroughly dry before you start the engine. The reason they put and engine cover is when our engines are running, there's 200volts of live electricity running through the open commonrail - this power is used to charge the piezo injectors (see page 7-5 of our manual) . Imagine if this area gets wet when the engine is running - you'll probably short-out the high-voltage electrical system of our engines commonrail unit. If this happens, I guess our ECU will detect it and shut-down the engine asap to prevent engine damage.

If you want to clean your engine bay ... kuha ka ng basahan na basa pero piniga na at ipunas mo.

Kung hindi ka naman kuntento, just have your engine detailed.

Mahirap na din magsisi sa bandang huli. Atleast the experts knows what are the do's and don't when cleaning your engine bay. ;)

If you want to clean your engine bay ... kuha ka ng basahan na basa pero piniga na at ipunas mo.

Kung hindi ka naman kuntento, just have your engine detailed.

Mahirap na din magsisi sa bandang huli. Atleast the experts knows what are the do's and don't when cleaning your engine bay. ;)

This is what i do everytime na nililinis ko si Soren, basahang basa and punasan lahat nang kayang abutin para di mag buildup ang dumi..

Pwede rin naman paliguan ang engine bay. Just make sure na tinakpan nyo ng plastic yung ECU. at dapat meron kayo leaf blower (para malakas) na gagamitin para maalis yung tubig sa mga singit-singit..

Just wondering if where you actually took out the bolts for the engine cover, its not visible, unlike in the old Sorento, bolts are visible..

There are no bolts, just pull up the engine cover from the 4 corners - you'll see the 4 mini ball-head fasteners (encircled in red below). There's foam lining underneath the plastic cover.

Suggest ko lagyan nyo rin ng proximity sensor if possible. Kabisado ng basag tsikot gang ang shock sensor. Mas effective ang prox sensor for me
