No its not.. SG is correct, you can see a plastic beneath the front windshield just behind also the rear view mirror.

Just some straightforward review of our 2010 Sorento

Likes-
Smooth but powerful and quiet engine
Acceleration very good, I can race against 1.6/1.8 sedans w/ less effort
Car Like ride, stable * high speeds
Cockpit (dunno if this the correct term for the driver's area) and cabin looks classy especially with its mood lights
Huge Center arm console, I think I can fit a laptop in there
3rd row vry liveable
Stereo is good
Driving position is very OK
Macho looking

Dislikes -
Non autolocking doors when engine turned on/ speed sensing
limited rear view (missed my old sorento)

we are originally planning to buy the 2.2EX 2WD but my mom wants 4x4 so we opt for the 7 seater 4x4 2.2R but then again, yung SA namin may inoffer na 4x4 2.2R Deluxe. Full leather seats, LED tail lamps, my Sunroof at electric seats both driver and passenger plus electrochromic mirror etc. fully loaded for 2.1M

meron na ba owner dito ng 2.2 Deluxe? is it worth the 2.1M?

Definitely it's worth 2.1M like my Tucson CRDi Premium. Much expensive than some mid size SUV. Pero maganda talaga eh

nice! meron rin kaming 2008 (pero 2009 sa LTO, nabili mga december) VGT Sorento. hindi kasi nakapag antay ng new model, ayun tuloy naluma agad lol. our old sorento is my moms daily ride, mga 1.5years pa lang but its nearing the 20k mark! ang lakas ng engine grabe

kaya excited rin ako sa 2.2R. its a beast. and i expect it to be way more comfy than the old one.

anong kulay kaya ang maganda para dito?

i also remember seeing that java brown. java brown pala name ng color na yan. update ko nalang kayo kung tuloy na tuloy na hehe. tsaka ilang months ang waiting time haha. i agree ok talaga yung java brown. lintek talaga haha. marami rami narin ako nakikitang new sorento dito sa amin. agaw tingin talaga
