April 28th, 2008 11:13 AM #1371Why remove the KIA logo?? It is now the chance for KIA to make its stand in the market and be the TOP vehicle in terms of design and performance!! Toyota?? Matibay?? then why do they have problems with their D4D engines during the first year of release?? If Toyota is really developed there should be no problem at all (muntik na din kami mag innova nung 2005 first release buti hindi kami kumuha instead we bought a KIA carnival).. I also read a thread regarding a 6month old Toyota Camry with A/C Stinking Problem.. Sabi pa nung may ari eh parang may fungus na yun 1M peso car nya pati anak nya ayaw sumakay hahahaha crappy aircon design and poor service ng casa... People especially Filipinos think that Toyota especially yung new models like Innova eh JAPAN made but its not...I think its made in INDONESIA...
As of now wala pa naman ako na-experience na ganyan na na insulto Carens aside dun sa gas boy na nagkarga ng 1st 500 peso fuel eh natuluan agad ng diesel yung sides kaya pinagalitan ko sabi ko "bagong bago dinumihan mo" and sagot eh "bago pala yan" gusto ko sagasaan yung gas boy eh ungas but still every people that see my carens were amazed.. ganda ng oto mo... ma-porma daw...lakas ng dating!! sarap pa ihataw very responsive ang engine.. even passengers are pushed back to their seats when i step on the gas.. zoom zoom talaga... and also I noticed na clean burning diesel engine talaga walang USOK pati yung AMOY ng exhaust nya ay hindi masyadong masangsang gaya ng ibang diesel engine.. yung ibang Toyota Innova D4D medyo mausok pa nga eh..
personally preferred talaga namin ang KIA after owning a KIA Besta (2nd hand that served us 7years) and KIA Carnival (2nd Hand riding comfort and served us almost 4years) and now KIA Carens with its "German Technology" CRDi diesel engine with VGT Turbo Intercooler you will never go wrong Pioneered by Robert Bosch GmBH... Unlike Toyota's copy cat D4D made by Denso
I also got the chance to check-out Suzuki APV 2008 although there are changes in its exterior features but the interior design is still a bit crappy.. Para syang remake ng Toyota Lucida where the engine is located in the middle of the vehicle.. iba pa rin yung craftsmanship ng carens..
Time will come people will recognize this vehicle and earn the respect of Filipino people.. Be proud of the Car you own.. remember that the CAR picks the Driver and not the Driver will pick the Car.. hehehe parang transformers

I couldn't have said it better, bro yapoy86! Yes, we should all stand tall and be proud to be owners (or owners-to-be) of the Kia Carens!

You know what? Even I thought the same thing when I first saw the Carens! I remember it clearly... sometime in mid-2007 or 3rd quarter of 2007, my wife and I parked at the Shangrila Mall and as we were walking towards the entrance/walkway of the mall, I noticed this blue Carens parked near our car...
The FIRST THING that popped in my head was that it was a smaller variant of the BMW X3 or X5! A split second after, I saw the Kia logo and instantly thought that Kia had come a long way from what my then impression of the car brand was... The image of that blue Carens stuck to me like super glue ever since then...

Its nice to know that you already have bought your carens. San mo kinuha unit mo? Maybe it's time for us to create a carens club for all carens owners and enthusiast. I can make a logo for the group and create the cutout sticker as well. and maybe we could meet up first or as they say an eb to work this things out. Maybe this coming weekend is fine.

Tama ka, I notice parang iba nga ang amoy especially after a long drive. Sabi nga ng guard amin "amoy denatured alcohol." People told me that all diesel products has small percentage of alcohol in it, tama ba 'to?

VGT turbo combust all the diesel fuel kaya siguro alcohol nalang ang naamoy ko.

They probably sold so few cars last year that even a 112% increase still hardly makes a change in...
