my 7 yr old trooper, nag emit ng heavy foggy white smoke last tue...after cooling the engine, we managed it na maiuwi sa bahay, umandar pa naman.

sa backyard namin ko na lang pinagawa, sa dami ba naman ng trooper problem, seguro memorize na ng mga mekaniko, what part to replace, and to replace it correctly...

injector + rpcv + rail oil pressure sensor = 34k..

the 2nd item must come in a SEALED thin foil, otherwise, may story na yan, he he

after ma-replace ang 3 items, need to go casa, to program the items using the TECH2 device.

feel ko brand new trooper ko... he he

im glad your trooper is okay again... at least the cost of damage is cheaper than sa casa...i just hope it will work like brand new for more years sir.

those three parts are exactly what needs to be replaced. hay..manufacturers defect talaga.

tumitirik ba ang troooper kapag sira na talaga ang injectors?
kasi may nakita ako kagabi sa SLEX na 2005 Trooper at mabago-bago pa kasi ZBR-*** yung plate. Andun lang sya sa shoulder at nilalagyan ng kadena yung tow hook sa harap. Hihilain na yata papunta sa casa.

yes kahit yung sensor lang mag light di na yan aandar while you are driving. shut off na ng computer ang electrical.

I think what Redhorse is saying pasalamat ka smoke pa lang naagapan na. Pag spewing oil and/ or water goodbye na cylinder head and/or block. Usap na kayo ni Paul Chua!

the arab says, CHECK ENGINE in red.. while the japanese engine is shaking... di naman kami nag hand shake

anyway, will let tech2 translate the red fonts and body language to me in english

RedHorse, pahingi naman ng contact nos. ng gumawa ng trooper mo. I also own a 2003 Trooper Skyroof 4JX1-TC with 48K+ on the odo. So far so good [knock-on-wood], superior ride for an SUV, lot's of power, good FC for a 3.0 liter engine, smoke comes out only on hard acceleration. I just want to be ready if & when.

1st pa check mo muna aircon mo.. if not done yet, 7 yrs ko pinatagal.. ayon nagpalit compressor -- xexel ang brand sa akin. oil lang yata ng compressor papalitan nyan.

basta keep in good faith lang pms interval. keep the oil level as shown sa engine compartment. matagal pa buhay ng injector nyan.
