I just experienced a sudden drop in fuel economy these last 2 weeks. I replaced the air filter and now fuel economy is back to normal. Seems like the Isuzu Best Value Parts air filter is no good after 20k kms (at least in my case).

how much was the bvs air filter?

I complained it kasi nung last PMS ko, ang ginawa nila, naglagay sila ng tape somewhere sa may airconditioning unit. They told me na may small gap dun sa may foam part kaya may pumapasok parin na smell from time to time. So they "sealed" it na using the tape. Ganon daw talaga ginagawa nila. So far mukhang okay naman. Wala pa ko naaamoy from outside.

IIRC, Isuzu BVP air filter is P1500.
Isuzu Genuine air filter is P2000.
Those are casa prices.

Outside casa na po nag papa PMS since tapos na po ang warranty ng MUX ko. Gusto ko po malaman kung ilang km dapat pinapalitan yung fuel filter. Pinalitan ng casa yung fuel filter ko nung 10km PMS ko for warranty.

Ang recommendation ng casa ay every 10k kms. Hindi ko alam kung anong basis nila nito.
Ang nakalagay sa manual ay palitan lang kapag umilaw na yung fuel filter light sa dashboard.

Due for PMS na ako kasi sa shell ko na lang papagawa. Iniisip ko kung hindi ko na lang muna palitan yung fuel filter kasi nakalagay sa manual na antayin yung fuel filter sign na umilaw. Pero sabi lang sakin na dapat regular na pinapalitan daw ang fuel filter sa diesel para di daw maging mausok.
