Depends sa age ng battery. If too old, baka hindi na maghold ng charge. You will charge today, pero drained ulit the next day. If you have battery charger, use it. No harm in trying.

Assume the car batt is 9V while cracking but the ampere is only 70 so di pa rin mag-start ito
So how do you measure the remaining amperes of your battery? Para alam mo kung magstart pa engine?

Ampere meter is not easy to use on car battery. Whereas a voltmeter, you just connect in parallel sa terminals. Basta 12V and above, I am good to go. One click start. Never pa ko nagmeasure ng amperes ng battery.

maybe your multi tester has only up to mA (milliamp) range. Mayron sa T alonzo high ampere range.

I have a 400Amps AC-DC digital clamp meter but I have not used it for car battery yet.

Ito lang ginagamit ko. In-car voltmeter.

Engine Off - 12.6V (Battery OK - Fully Charged)

Engine On - 14.5V (Alternator OK - Battery Charging)

^ I use the same voltmeter that *red_one posted. Seems accurate naman, same reading with the handheld clamp type meter used by the casa when I had my car serviced last weekend.

I use a similar one pero I bought one na walang temperature. Kahit cheap chinese gadget sya, accurate sya.
