    question po sa mga hi lander xtrm model, sirain din ba wheel bearings nyo? ako taon taon nagpapalit kase nababasagan ako palagi so alog pa lang nagpapalit na ako

    Common issue yata sa hilander natin. Dahil maliit daw bearing... kaso di ko pa nakita sa crosswind kung gano kalaki compare sa hilander

    Good evening po.

    May naka-experience na ba sa inyo ng dying engine while driving or idling with full electrical components turned on like AC, headlight, radio, wiper, blinker, dashcam, voltmeter with clock etc.

    Im experiencing intermittent engine shutdown of our 1999 Hilander.

    Already changed the fuel pump, replaced fuel filter, replaced air filter, new battery (old one is already 21 mos old)

    May fast idling control device po ba ang 4JA1? or Idle Air Control Valve?
    Saan po located ang fuel regulator.

    I'd like to check the fuel injection lastly coz my fuel injection has just been cleaned just 6 mos ago
    Just so frustrating

    Ilan ba ang idle rpm with aircon off? Ilan pag naka on ang aircon? Dapat 750 revs pag umaandar aircon. Adjust mo ang rpm to 750 revs pag umaandar aircon. Pag no aircon adjust mo ang stopper bolt sa injection pump fuel control para mag 750 rpm. Adjust mo link rod ng vacuum advance para 750 rpm habang umaandar ang aircon compressor.

    na check mo ba ang water separator? baka clogged na ng mga elements galing sa fuel...


    yung nag trtrigger ng idle up when AC is on is yung hose na maliit - vacuum yata yun from alternator. check din baka biyak na.

    Hi sir weisshorn,

    idling siya at 800-900 with aircon off...same idling when aircon is on...until bumaba ng bumaba ung idling to 500rpm then it dies. Some times it also idles at 1,100rpm with all electricals off

    di ko pa kabisado ung location ng sinasabi mong stopper bolt...may pic k b nun sir on its actual location in the engine? Di ko rin sir alam location ng link rod...baka meron k din sir pic ng location nya.

    other possible causes am looking at is defective idle spring, defective fast idling speed control, cleaning or repair of breather, leak at intake manifold

    muffler lang b tayo sir? di ba un catalytic converter? kung clogged na daw kasi catalytic converter, icho-choke din nun ung engine

    meron bang throttle body position sensor ang 4JA1?

    yan ung unang ginawa ko sir aioshin...replace and clean fuel pump, fuel filter, replace air filter, also had a new battery replacing my 21 month old battery

    When idling does not increase when AC is ON, assuming nag trigger naman clutch ng compressor, yung na mention ko na maliit na hose from alternator to your "idle up" device, di ko matandaan term... baka di nakakabit or butas na.

    sir aioshin, ok nmn ung maliit n hose n sinasabi mo walang butas at nakakabit naman sya. I used it today for about 7hours at wala naman issue...patay nga lang aircon kaya ang init. Hayssss...hirap ng nangangapa

    Hello po sa mga hilander owner, sana matulungan po ninyo ako..ung isuzu hilander 4JA1 ko humahalo ung tubig sa langis..pinalitan ung cylinder head gasket, ganun parin..pinalitan ung cylinder head,piston ring,liner,valve seal, ganun parin po humahalo parin ung tubig sa langis..ngayon po pinapabili naman ako ng makaniko ng block,malaki na po nagagastos ko wala na po ako tiwala sa mekaniko, ano po kaya ang sira? sana po may naka experience na ng ganito please help!!!

    oo sir, ung tubig sa radiator nawawala tapos ung langis kulay grey na tapos halos mapuna na sya..una kaming mag drain ng langis tubig ang unang lumabas..ano po kayo kaya sira sir?

    My nagsabi naman po na mekaniko, na baka oil cooler lang yan..wag daw muna ako bumili ng bumili try an error ang ginawa..kaya nagtatanong muna ako...baka may nka experience na ganito kasi twice ng binaba ang makina di pa rin magawa...

    nag-palit ng lugar ang tubig at ang langis!

    parang may na-basa akong may test daw na ginagawa, para makita kung may crack ang engine block...

    that happened to me 4-5 years ago....oil cooler ang sira ng sakin nasa P5k halaga nun that time pero ngayon di naman siguro yun ganun tumaas sa jetco pasay or recto ka bumili or sa multilink pasay (katabi lang un ng jetco pasay

    Thank you for sharing your experience..bukas plano ko icheck muna ung oil cooler..Ask ko lang sir, ganun din po ba sayo hindi sa radiator pumupunta yong langis? nauubos yong tubig ng radiator nsa oil lahat..?

    oo papi, ung radiator ko nagkakaron ng engine oil. Mukhang last resort mo na ung oil cooler kasi napalitan na mga gaskets ng engine block mo at na-check na ung mga possible na daanan para mag-leak ung engine oil papasok ng radiator mo

    Ganyan din po nangyari sa XTRM namin, nag ooverheat kasi puro langis yung radiator pero umaandar pa naman. AFAIK water pump ang naging problema namin, yun din ang sabi sa casa so pinalitan na lang namin yun.

    *sir aioshin,

    oo paps, nasolve na rin ung riddle. The culprit is the busted supply pump (inside the fuel injection assembly). Ok pa ung shafting nya, wala pang leak. Pero standard sa pag-overhaul ng fuel injection are the following:
    --cleaning of nozzles
    --palit gasket & o-ring
    those 2 processes costed me P2,800
    plus brand new supply pump P1,800
    --------
    total expense was ------------P4,600

    I tried searching sa net, may isuzu injection fuel assembly n P44k and P25k but I didn't bother to check the difference in price, was just curious how much a brand new injection fuel assembly would cost

    My next project is to replace the PCV valve. Medyo hindi lang malinaw sakin kung yung PCV valve ba is the same as the ventilation diaphragm (terminology ni Jetco). Can you enlighten me on this? Mabilis kasi maubos ung engine oil ko dahil sa lakas ng pressure sa loob ng makina. Pinu-push nya ung dipstick at unti-unting tumitilamsik ung engine oil. 1.5 years ago na since naibaba ung makina ko due to compression loss or blowby. Haisss pera n naman
