2SM din lang gamit namin sa Isuzu hilander, L300 at Advie na puro diesel.

ganun nga din sa akin sir...motolite enduro 2sm ang gamit ko ngaun....suggest ng napuntahan kong battery shop..dapat 3sm kasi nga diesel.....ang problema mejo malaki ung size ng 3sm....meron po bang 3sm na kasing size ng 2sm battery?

Wala AFAIK, kasi nga kaya mas mahal ang 3SM kesa sa 2SM ay dahil sa mas maraming plates yung 3SM.

Let's just put it this way. 2SM should be "Just fine" for your Hilander. As an address support to additional electric-dependent accessories (i.e. upgrade HU/speakers+amp, TV monitors, etc), I suggest 3SM.

I am not sure (since I never had a Hilander boxtype before) if the 3SM size would fit its battery tray. If it does and your budget permits, go for a 3SM.

Parang di kakasya 3sm, 2sm kasi sagad na sa gilid ng engine bay, sa kabilang side naman yung dryer (?) ng aircon. Unless baguhin mo yung mount from east-west to north-south... or reserve battery ka tpos palagay mo sa likod na lang, kung malaki electric demand ng accessories mo. pwede rin upgrade alternator like what I did from stock 40w to 90w from a N.patrol or 110w H.starex, yun ang walang sabit juice!!!

im using motolite gold N70 3SM battery, more than 2 years nato and still ok pa ang batt, malaki nga ito, tumatama na nga sa drier o accumulator ng car aircon system ng SLX ko, so far so good naman...

I find the stock alternator of our hi-lander on the small side, 40amps lang...

it really wont be a problem using a 3sm battery, but I think with lighting upgrade & sound upgrade your alternator wont be able to keep up with the load. Even if you have a 3sm but your alternator doesn't produce enough juice it'll be worthless cause it cant charge it fast enough the way you'll consume it. given that your stock alternator is already 10 years old, mine gave up on the 6th year of use. Performance might not be at its peak, know what I mean?

Nga pala nasa 4.5K bili ko ng surplus Nissan Patrol alternator 90amps, yung b'new 3sm motolite gold nung isa kong rig 4.5K din bili ko... So think of it

Nga why would you want a bigger 3sm? why not just by 2sm excel (green)?
