Just want to correct my input in fuel cost... it was 2.87pesos/km for 1800kms ran * 38.50pesos/l.

oo mabilis maubos nakaka asar... im using a 2008 dmax ls yung 500 pesos ko na 13liters somthing 100km lang nt unlike bfore na 150km.. better response though...

Ok pa yan sir, considering 2.5L AT unit nyo, 8-9km/L is quite efficient in my opinion.

im using global DMax I-teq. ask ko lang bro kung pareho tayo ng air filter. i want to change my filter kasi ng k&n e. nahihirapan ako maghanap kung san meron. but never tried asking sa casa kung meron sila.

nasubukan ko na din both new diesel entries ng petron and shell. mas nagustuhan ko petron. both sa dmax at xwind ko. medyo magaralgal kasi takbo sa shell e. para sakin lang ah. un lang kasi pansin ko sa oto ko e. sa petron diesel kasi pino andar nila. kaya nung i tried petron e d na ko nagpalit pa.but im using shell oils. synthetic.

anyone na ganun din ang case like mine regarding sa pino ng andar ng engine for either shell or petron diesels?..

just bougth a dmax LS 04 A/T with odo 60,263

had it full tanked automatic then ran aroud 27.5km, filled her up again (automatic ulit) 4.8 ltrs

gulat ako sa consumption ko pumatak lang ng 5.7km/ltr

city driving lang po yan

bakit po kaya ganito lang itinakbo?

ano po kaya ang kailangan ipagawa?

my consumption:
2010 XUV bbe crosswind
using petron turbo diesel
1 full tank (sagad)=400-430km mileage
using any ordinary diesel
1 full tank (sagad)=500-520km mileage
mas mabilis maubos/masunog petron turbo diesel
both combination of city and hway driving.

I'm getting about 8.5 km/L on my new D-Max 4x2 LS A/T (70% city driving, 600km odo). Any way to improve this? Where do you usually load up your fuel?

sir domski, parehas po tayo ng fc, same model din.

totoo bang gaganda fc at takbo if papalitan ng k&n filters dmax natin, san ba nakakabili nun magkano na rin po.

ODO: 79,358Km
Tranny: A/T
Fuel: Shell Diesel
New Injectors na po

City: 7.5km/L (A/C on, Light-footed driving (nothing above 2k rpm, Light-moderate QC traffic) this is the best FC I got to date

City: 5km/L (kapag harabas driving)

Highway: 11.2 km/L (SLEX-SCTEX route Manila - Subic)

mga bros...paano ba malaman yung fuel consumption ng crosswind sportivo natin...paano procedure ginagawa nyo para malaman yung tamang sukat ng FC...

Madali lang po sir, full tank po ninyo then take the odometer reading, or set the A or B option of the odo reading to Zero. After your travel, i-full tank nyo uli then the get the total km reading or distance travelled and divide the how many liters yung i-dinagdag mo sa tank para mafull uli. Yun po ang pagkuha nung fuel consumption.

Total kms travelled = 360
#of liters consumed= 22
Kms/liter (360/22)= 16.36

Satisfied Isuzu owner/ user here (2001 Crosswind XT, 2004 DMax LS 4x2 and 2008 DMax LS 4x2), all manual-transmission

Re fuel mileage:

Isuzu model: 2008 DMax Ddi-iTEQ

Engine: 3-litre 4JJ1-TC "standard"

Indicative fuel mileage from Metro Manila to Baguio City after travelling 293.1 km by way of Marcos Highway, 21 December 2010: 15.4 km per litre

Gear going up Marcos highway: 4th-gear most of the time, 3rd in tight hairpins or "switchbacks"

Estimated engine power used while going up Marcos Highway: 83 metric-hp to 94 metric-hp DIN (at the wheel)

Fuel: Petron Turbodiesel

Air filter: New stock Isuzu airfilter

Passengers: 4 (3 adults and 1 kid)

Comment: Extremely satisfied owner!

one full tank abot sya 800km from laguna to bicol i think kaya pa 850km kase may 1/8 pa sa fuel guage, computed consumption about 13-14km/l nag bisita iglesia pa kame so ikot ikot sa mga bayan den went straight to donsol tapos sa naga nako ulit nag pa karga....

super satisfied dmax owner... matagtag lang tlaga hehehe

Put 2 sand bags weighing about 40 kilos each and mawawala na yang tagtag. Ganyan gawa namin sa 4x2 Isuzu LS. Sa tipid ng DMax, hindi problema addt'l weights na ito esp kung 1-2 passengers na lang.

4x4 ba mas mababa FC at mas matagtag kaysa sa 4x2? TIA
