. Sana merong maka tulong sa problem and it would be great if meron dito alam kung ano ang dapat palitan and kung saan pwde bumili ng parts....province kasi location namin. Thank you

June 7th, 2013 11:14 AM #1272*Angeloy: Mine has a fuel gauge problem too. Pinost ko na dito un, way back in 2011 pa ata. Same thing that the dealership told me, it is the floater that needs to be replaced and it costs in that ball park figure that you have mentioned.
Ang difference lang natin sir, ung akin whenever I fill up, the needle will not go all the way up even if I tell the gas boy to fill it all the way up. The needle will stop under the very first/top line of the fuel gauge. But whenever I park it on a tilted or on an inclined road, lalo pag ung back part ng car ang nasa taas, the needle will go beyond the first line. But since it is not causing me any problems, I never bothered having it fixed.
In your case that it is reaching the point where the fuel light appears, that might be a different story. If I were you, I will just let the dealership repair that, the price might be steeper but at least you have more peace of mind.

June 7th, 2013 02:17 PM #1273*rna800 good day to you sir, just went to the dealership just to double check, so confirmed talaga na its the sender unit/float ang problema. Before the needle was on the half mark pero ngayon empty na talaga...The tech said that the 30k includes the whole assembly togethr with pump..we will try to ask around maybe there are shops that sell replacement parts...but if wala then balik dealership talaga...

Harinawa'y chief yung 4JJ1-TCX engine na sana ang inibigay this time sa atin....
Napakahina talaga ng Isuzu dito sa Pilipinas when it comes to offering what should be its "better" products that are offered elsewhere unlike compared to Mitsubishi Philippines na madami nabubulag hehe....

Not too bad apparently and is very cheap compared to my stable Mobil 1 Delvac Gold 5W-40. i'm quite satisfied with this multi-grade oil from Shell
http://www.epc.shell.com/Docs/GPCDOC...%29_TDS_v1.pdf
Cheers!

After winning the following:
1. 2013 Ute of the Year by 4WD Action in Australia (D-max 3.0-litre);
2. 2013 Vans of the Year Awards by VanzA27 in the United Kingdom (D-max 2.5-litre twin turbo); and
3. 2013 Europe's version Car of the Year AllRad by Auto Bild in Germany (D-max 2.5-litre twin turbo)....
....The D-max 3.0-litre won yet again Australia's Ute of the Year by Delivery Magazine ;)
Hindi lang pala dating Car of Year, thorough-bred 4x4 pa din shaming even the vaunted Ford Ranger 3. 2 TDCi, but also a no-non sense utility pickup hehe....
Sulit talaga na ever since i've bought Isuzu D-max pickups.... Pinaka-tipid pa sa fuel sa lahat ;)
Cheers!

June 9th, 2013 11:50 AM #1278Just had my 90k km change oil and oil filter at Speedyfix. I even met sir Migs aka speedyfix. I tried Royal Purple 15W40 at 600 per liter, so far so good, mas mura pa kaysa sa Torco that Isuzu used before. Sayang hindi compatible ung LF 689 (Fleetguard) na oil filter that I bought from sir Bayen, so no choice, VIC oil filter tuloy ang bagsak ko.

YUP sir, and this fully-synthetic Torco SD5 15W-40 even has lower Total Base Number (TBN) of 8 ppt potassium hydroxide compared to this very cheap heavy-duty multi-grade Shell R3 X oil containing 11.5 TBN. Even the vaunted ester type fully-synth Motul CRDi Specific 5W-40 only has 8 TBN same as the heavier Torco. This actually made me jumped to Mobil1 Delvac Gold 5W-40 as it contains plus 12.0 TBN other than its kinematic properties and is fully synthetic. I have yet to get an Amsoil diesel oil from Manila, if any, as i've used it in other countries.
At this time though, i'm using that cheap Shell R3 X oil vefore i change again to Mobil1.

June 18th, 2013 04:33 PM #1280Good Day Mga Sirs.
I am a newbie here. I hope you guys can help me out. Anyways, I have a 10 month old D-Max 4x4 LT (4jj1-Iteq engine). Its odometer reading is at 22.5k. My problem is that there is a moisture of oil around the turbo and its air hose and around the intake. On my 15,000km periodic maintenance, isuzu told me that they will just tighten the hose clips. But then again on my 22.5k kms periodic maintenance this morning, I noticed the same thing.
The technician told me that this is normal since there is oil coming out from the breather towards the turbo system. Its just so happen that my hose clips were not tight enough which caused the visible moisture of oil. Is it really normal for the breather to blow out oil? Why is oil present in the air hoses in its turbo system? I thought only air passes through these hoses.
Anyways. baka meron iba dyan na may same experience. Pakishare naman mga Sirs. Thank you and God Speed.
Same issue here.
