diba dapat directly proportional? higher power means higher FC..

Besides, if I need more power ipon nalang for a Tunit

I think the hood scoop is for the 4x4 variant only. The wheels also look smaller this time because the wheel well arc is now designed higher which gives the illusion of a higher profile but the chassis is still the same.

Dapat kasi pinalaki nila ng konti ang wheel size, or at least beefier tires so that it won't look a bit funny. But marketing wise, they always assume that the owner will eventually upgrade to aftermarket shoes.

I get around 9 Kms/L on the 07 Dmax and around 11Kms/L on the 07 Strada. Both mixed city and highway driving. Probably cause mas malaki engine ng Dmax? Dmax M/T and Strada A/T.

tsk..tsk.. this is bad news..

i was thinking of getting the crdi d-max hoping that it would be very fuel efficient, kahit half lang sa 24.xx km/l na dinidisclose nila during the isuzu challenge.

maybe there will be a new diesel technology that will be more efficient in the coming months. better wait muna. hehe

Common rail technology is most efficient in fuel consumption compared to traditional diesel system.
In my opinion i wont agree that older dmax 3.0 td is more fuel efficient than dmax with 3.0 Ddi engine. If dmax 3.0 td is more efficient than the new one, whats the point of having a new 3.0 Ddi engine?

I used to refill every 550-600pesos and computed as the fuel used. My fuel consumption with my dmax is only from 15.3-13.6km/li and im pleased with it.

Avoid aggressive driving. "Jack-rabbit" starts and hard braking can increase fuel consumption by as much as 40%. Tests show that "jackrabbit" starts and hard braking reduces travel time by only four percent, while toxic emissions were more than five times higher. The proper way is to accelerate slowly and smoothly, then get into high gear as quickly as possible. In city driving, nearly 50% of the energy needed to power your car goes to acceleration.

summing up the comments, i think there's a slight difference sa FC between old and new dmax.

what i really want sa new dmax is its escalade-look front headlight. ang tapang makatingin.. also the optitron gauges..

What d-max are we talking about here, sir? The td or the crdi?

Yes, I agree with 2dmax. The headlight and bumper combination is awesome.
