do u knw wat cars i drive jarhead? ur talking lyk u knw me personally..at least i dnt own dat crap dmax of urs! its n0t w0rth a penny..dmax here n the phil sucks..i sm0ke dmax 0l da tym! ill say it agen dmax here in the phil is the weakest pick up 0ut in the market!
galit kayo sir?
i dont think the dmax is the "weakest" pick up in our market. correct me if i am wrong but in the 4x2 segment, the dmax has the most power in the engine department. yun nga lang weakest sya sa 4x4 segment. i honestly think that this is the best choice when you are scouting for a 4x2 pick up though talo talaga sya pag 4x4 na.
peace.
if dmax is the worst pick up.. why does it have the high safety rating... and the only pick up ng japs being used by an american brand for their pick up too... i wonder...
maybe its ur compressor sir.... baka yun magnetic clutch meron na sira... have it checked sa casa or an aircon expert repair shop
Plus 1. Expressing one's opinion is an entirely different thing from bashing pointlessly just because they dwell on creating conflict. Create your own forum for pete's sake! I think this forum is not in business of bashing other brands. Only BIGOTS and Narrow minded NINCOMPOOPS have the audacity to bash the dmax brand in its own forum. handle palang halatang bad news na MENTAL_sissy1973![]()
yup..i totally agree with metal_rosie1973..dmax is the weakest of all the pick ups here in the philippines..am wondering why isuzu made a crappy pick up..here is a proof that dmax is the weakest pick up..just want to share it with you guys..enjoy the video..[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9Ug6Jd0EFU[/ame]

I know it's difficult (and likely costly) to go to a shop "blindfolded" about the possible culprit to your vehicle's problem. But it is also dangerous to self-medicate a problem you are unsure of (aka DIY).
Bring your D-Max sa CASA or to a reputable aircon shop for them to check.
Hi to all dmax owners here, can you advise me how much price is an used 2005 4x2 dmax ls a/t now in the market? TIA
good day guys.
i have two more questions.
1. i was told na sa diesel engine like Dmax, if you go on a very long distance drive, when you stop you have to wait like 5 minutes before turning off your engine. just want to know what to do in case you forgot and turned your engine off directly. how about if you will just make a brief stop after a long drive (say restroom break). do you still wait 5 minutes before turning off your engine?
2. do you rotate your tires (use the spare tire, change the tire's position and one of the used tires becomes a spare)? i remembered seeing instructions to rotate tires in our sedan's manual. i do not see any tire rotation instructions sa Dmax manual.
thanks for any help guys.
[QUOTE=khayman;1495693]good day guys.
i have two more questions.
1. i was told na sa diesel engine like Dmax, if you go on a very long distance drive, when you stop you have to wait like 5 minutes before turning off your engine. just want to know what to do in case you forgot and turned your engine off directly. how about if you will just make a brief stop after a long drive (say restroom break). do you still wait 5 minutes before turning off your engine? Well, it isn't a "must" to follow this 5-minute idle coming from a run before turning off your engine. But neither this deny the fact that it would be best to do this if the oppotunity permits. Ergo, it's ok.
2. do you rotate your tires (use the spare tire, change the tire's position and one of the used tires becomes a spare)? i remembered seeing instructions to rotate tires in our sedan's manual. i do not see any tire rotation instructions sa Dmax manual. Rotation normally involves the 4 used tires only. The spare (being a full sized tire) can eventually be used to replace one of the 4 used tires as the need arises.
Sir Benz I have to disagree on no.2. Most radial tires have a useable shelf life of 3-6 years depending on usage, storage & weathering. As your tire is exposed to the elements (heat, moisture, etc) it will gradually deteriorate and so will its performance. That's why most manufacturers only have a 3 year warranty from the production date. Including your spare tire in the rotation will ensure that you will at least get some usage while it's still in A1 condition. If you do proper rotation ideally you should be able to replace all 4 or 5 of your tires and have a fresh batch of new tires with the same or similar production dates so that the performance on all 4 wheels will be the same.
My cousin's spare from his CRV is useless to him now, it's as hard as a rock and very slippery.
Hehehe! You're right. I guess I have been too engrossed with my classic MB.... the impractical purist in me says it's nice to have the original 1983 spare of my 123 in my trunk... serving only as valuable "relic" and subconsciously neglecting the very purpose of the spare and the risk of an "expired" spare can do to my safety.![]()
