the box material and construction feels smooth
the filter material is colored red. and a bit oily. the rubber ends feels firm, similar to the orig.
but i think the vic feels lighter, maybe less metal meshing in the construction. nakabit ko na.
plan to use it a maximum of 1 year lang.
even though i have used the vic oil filter 3x already, skipping trips to the casa for pms. and this vic filter. due to time and costs considerations.
at 75000kms, still feel the vehicle is too young to be using replacement parts like Vic. maybe at 100000kms i will be a regular Vic user. still havent tried ther diesel fuel filters.
after the rainy season, i still plan to use casa for a 20k.kms level pms service.
will try this ritual of every 20k.kms pms, sa casa. kung kaya nang bulsa.
regular rate last time, 10 months ago, i went sa isuzu manila is about php5000. parts and materials included but excluding parts like belts or bearings etc.Last edited by kurt; September 1st, 2007 at 12:47 PM.

More or less pareho kami ni AKA.
I also have to take note of my tire pressure. You gotta make sure that it's not below 30psi or else the mileage will indeed suffer.
Plus it also depends on your right footif it's heavy then you visit the pump more often.
But overall, tipid pa rin sa fuel ang Dmax!

sakin dmax ko 8-8.5 kms per liter lang. Everyday use yan with 18s. Pucha lakas sa diesel kung naka mags. Pero yan 8-8.5 kms per liter traffic everyday sa edsa papunta de la salle taft. Ginamit ko fortuner minsan papuntang la salle with 18s rin nasa 10 kms per liter. Mas matipid! haha

September 4th, 2007 02:23 PM #2810Hi guys has anybody experience the tok tok tok sound coming from the somewhere in the driver side?
There is a toktoktok sound i think coming somewhere in the front wheel (driver side ). The tok tok sound become faster as i accelerate. At first kala ko shocks but i've already replaced it and yet the sounds still there.
Any idea guys?
TIA
That's what he actually did. He also retrofitted an eps to his 1970s era beetle. Btw, now...
