wildthing - Congratulations man!
Very nice of you to document the whole thing for us to learn from here. It will come in handy if I have to make some claims in the future, minsan kailangan talagang we have to put our foot down to avoid being bullied by some casas.
Talagang "down to the wire", pati ang fuel and toll fees sagot! Hehehehe, way to go!

December 18th, 2006 02:25 AM #1504wildthing,
thanks for your emphatizing with my problem.
for your infos.. they have been evading my calls for the past three weeks..the japanese may have used all his excuses to return my calls or meet me in person.. maybe his biggest mistake of his life.
i have filed a complaint letter with the japanese embassy for his unprofessionalism and bad business ethics. he will get his share of badluck and so will isuzu.
there will be more to come soon.. watch out for the phil star news on isuzu.
likewise.. watch out for the big bang.
im still thinking which one will make isuzu more famous... abscbn or gma7 for my expose.
my apologies for the isuzu lovers... however maybe it would be wise to sell all your vehicles soon...my expose might lower their resale value...
for any of the members with friends with isuzu... i suggest telling them about my thread....(protest against isuzu trooper) coz what im about to do will redefine the term creativeness and imagination.....
after my expose... im sure their sales will probably drop to zero... they might be going back to japan.
may i request sir wildthing that you email me a copy of your lawyer's demand letter ....pchua2004*yahoo.com i might need to use some legal terms during one of my interviews...
just in case... u may want to listen to konsyumer atbp on saturday.. i might be interviewd by winee cordero.
thanks for all your support.

email sent. nagiging sobrang makulay ang isuzu....even their customer service nagiging "busy" pagtumawag boss ko kaya nga we immediately went into the legal way, para wala na kaming problema. The lawfirm happens to be our suki and barkada ng boss ko.

Hi Sir Paulchua,
In fairness to Isuzu (the brand), most of their vehicles or at least most of the models we owned (Trooper 4jg2, Dmax, and Fuego) have been great and were able to serve us long enough. I can say that they really make bulletproof rides.
I doubt if their sales will go down since the problems on your Jx1 trooper does not exist anymore in the current alterra and Dmax engines. Besides these models have been out for quite some time now with no major problems to expose. We should also take into consideration that the trooper is a phased out vehicle.
In your expose, I think that you will give the greatest deal to the other Jx1 owners who have been victims to Isuzu's incompetence. Hopefully they come out of their shells and fight with you and in turn get the compensation they deserve for getting a lemon.
I hope for the best and may your fight improve the customer satisfaction that we Filipino customers deserve. If all turns out well, there will be lots of owners out there who will surely follow what you did to make claims, not only against Isuzu but also against other manufacturers.Last edited by Djerms; December 18th, 2006 at 09:06 AM.

i understand exactly your thoughts my fellow isuzu owner. let me give you a hint.
my expose is not only about the trooper. it is in having malicious intent to deceive the filipino consumers. if you check isuzu, the trooper was phased out in 2002, last production. we all know that it was because of the bad image because of so many complaints in the 4jx1.
then why the hell did they dump their troopers in the philippines in 2003 without fixing the engine first? and now ang dami daming pareparehong complaints regarding the injector and they are not addressing the problem and hiding under the warranty clause? my god.. P1.7m and isuzu trooper and top of the line nila. most expensive nila lemon car.
would you buy a car from them considering that they dumped their junk here and hope nobody would notice and complain?
would you still fight for your beloved dmax? or altera?
dumping defective products in a thirld world country and hoping to get away with it is deadly. and consider that accroding to the constitution, after a house, the major investment that the state protect is a car.

the problem that the trooper has has already been known matagal na.. but still people buy them, and the sales was not affected... only that people where hesitant to buy the trooper because it was already known that it was due for replacement and some newer models where coming.... even the fuego units where hard to sell because of the known fact that the dmax was coming already...
sir, kng hindi na resolve ng casa mo ngaun ang prob na yan... better try other casas.. maybe they might have the knowledge or experience bakit ganyan injectors ng trooper mo... 3 times pinalitan is somewhat questionable na.... like i said sa thread mo, ours was replaced twice , but the second time it wa replaced the oil sensor and injector sensors was replaced because they guessed that those were the one making the trouble... til now our trooper is trouble free.... so, it would also depend on the experience of the casa.... maybe they outlook some points in the fixing of your ride...
