guys, mukhang wala prob dmax natin ah... naging lonely ang thread natin.... hehehehe.... wala na b mga concerns, etc dyan??? tested ba talaga ang dmax natin na matibay.... hehehe ....

FYI lang mga maams and sirs: be sure to change your fuel filters regularly... usually every 10,000kms or 6 months.... lalo na yun mag crdi dmax ngaun.. they are more sensitive to dirty fuels than the older type of engine... yun naka 1st labas na d-max naman, the same thing rin. be careful kc it cost alot to fix or reclibrate the injection pump, i dont know lang kung meron ba maka ayos nito na non-casa kc electronics yan...

Mine has already registered just above 12k kms and so far I don't have any problems with it yet. Maybe because I alternate in using cars so no car is really used straight throughout the week. But for me, so far so good.

I just noticed that the Dmax doesn't have an alarm. I accidentally tested it when I was in Subic. It didn't alarm but there was this red light that kept on blinking. I asked my agent about this, probably a day after I purchased it back in August and he said there is, I guess he really didn't know about it so he just took a wild guess. Even so, that is not a biggie for me.

I just wanna share this. I saw the Dmax that has a backup sensor when I had my PMS before and I remembered when I saw sir romel.krypton's sensor, but his was put on the stainless steel part of the bumper.

Jarhead - yeah good point. I encountered a crdi D-max at the dealership with 35k on the odo. It was experiencing injector problems daw according to the owner. The head mechanic at the dealer said that it was corroded injectors.

It was also there that I noticed that there is a separate fuel filter unit that is inbetween the line going from the fuel tank to the engine - I believe it's located underneath the chassis - which helps to initially filter water and sediments.

Yesterday I was able to talk with another D-max owner this time with the same clutch problem as mine. He bought his crdi, 4x2, manual unit last december lang. He was having his PMS for only 1,500kms. I told him to have it warrantied asap.

rna800 - I also thought before that the alarm was in a coma because no matter what I did, it wouldn't set-off. I realized that Isuzu OEM alarms on the D-max are not as sensitive as aftermarket ones.

Even the casa can not fix the injection pump.
They have to remove it and bring it to CDC.

How big of a hole did you have to cut-out from the bodywork?

sir rna800, its just a precaution the company is advising on... hindi naman lalabas ang prob agad, it might come out later pa when its too late narin or maybe earlier...
as for the alarm, meron na man tayo alarm but its not sensor sensitive, its only activated when trhe car is opened by force..
