Well, nail polish is mostly applied if there is a small paint chip and you could not have it done (repaint) immediately. This is to avoid water sipping thru the paint chip and possibly resulting to rust. Then again, it's not a permanent solution.
Light scratches SOMETIMES can be "eliminated" thru wax or rubbing. Deep scratches and paint fade thou would require repainting of the affected panel.

It's a "standard" sales pitch by Buy and Sell businessmen. Unfortunately, yes, it is considered "acquired" 2004 model. Since the date of 1st registration is August 2003 --- August, being part of the 2nd half of the year --- which qualifies it to be "acquired" of the next year, in your particular case, 2004.
1 thing more, kami pa sumagot ng rehistro nito kaya pala kami minadali na bilhin kasi patapos na yung month. nung una sinasabi nila na rehistrado na ito (expected ko rin naman na talagang rehistrado na ito kasi almost end na ng August diba) Ideally, a car should be registered in it's assigned month (in your case August) but there are cases that a vehicle misses it's assigned month of registration --- thou LTO would charge a penalty for late registration (I believe 1/2 month worth) It seemed that the agent from which you got your XUVi wanted to save the added expense on his side and passed you the responsibility of having the car registered. If he did say it was registered, then you should have insisted that they register the vehicle before you completely pay the agreed amount OR deduct the assumed cost of registration from your originally agreed amount. P5,000 would have been reasonable.
Have you registered the vehicle already? By Tuesday, penalties would already be applied. Dagdag pa sa gastos mo yan.

Yeah, a friend of mine installed one on his Sportivo. "He say" it helps stabilize his vehicle from the "rolling feeling" specially navigating fast turns.
I am not that sure on where he got it.... I remember him saying in Makati from a shop named X-Wind. I think it's located in the area of Cartimar.
+1 on the Amaron. Yeah, just make sure it will fit and can be held in place securely due to...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
