Isuzu Crosswind Owners Thread [continued]

i have a friend, bumili siya ng brand new innova diesel, talagang maganda acceleration nya, pero nung sabi nya na iiwanan nya daw ako sa NLEX/SCTEX my reply was, "iiwanan ko naman sa maintenance at durability yang innova mo", hehe.

drawback lang talaga sa akin ng isuzu is yung mausok talaga, kaya if i were to drive daily in metro manila, i dont think i will get a crosswind. but since i am based here in the province, yung tibay, less worries at fuel economy ang hanap ko, thus settling for crosswind.

hehehe, oo nga naman, practicality reasons lang talaga ang panlaban natin sa iba. yun nga lang din ang drawback. medyo "ancient" technology na kasi ang diesel natin kaya medyo sluggish at mausok. but i just do my regular maintenance to take care of that matter.

*benz sir, calibration ba talaga ng gauge gitna? since brand new kasi mas mataas ng konti sa gitna akin. in that case, same kami ni XTRM_Ryder. So, Im assuming it's normal though?

Normal yan. Each vehicle (ISUZU or other brands) follow a standard engine temp but only varies in terms of temp gauge calibration. One good example is the box-type Hilander and the Crosswind. The normal operating temp of the engine is the same but temp indicator (gauge) looks different. So when you compare both ISUZU models, both are fruits but you are comparing apples to oranges.

Master Benz salamat ulit, at least may idea na ako, sir, yung XTRM ko walang foglamp at gusto kong palagyan, ano po ba ang mag-fit doon, 03 model po.

pano po ba mag-insert ng photo dito? sensy na talagang eh.

You'd need foglamps used for Crosswind XTO/XUV models from 2001-2004. That should be a direct fit.

As to posting pictures, I use a photo host (i.e. Photobucket) where I upload the pics there and copy the URL to post on forums/boards.

+1 ...... Subukan mo din Acid Gambit pag may time na idaan or ilusong sa baha ang crosswind or any t-rex engine ng isuszu.. Hindi hindi ka mapapahiya sa tibay at galing nito sa tubig. hehehehe... Wag lng lagpas TAO taas ng tubig haa!

Tanong ko lang po, normal lang po ba na lumagpas yung temp gauge a little bit from the center pero hindi naman po nag-ooverheat. O baka naman po sa calibration lang ng gauge. Nagpalit naman po ako ng coolant bagong lagay na yung coolant pero same thing parin lagpas parin to normal. Kindly shed some light on this please...TY po..

Ganon din XTRM 03 model namin sa province pero hanggang don nalang naman. . . ang masama kung tumataas pa. . .so far 200k na ang mileage non, hindi pa naman nagooverheat. . . . . .

Mga Masters, gusto ko sanang pagandahin at papogiin ang underhood ko pati na ang performance ng engine, mine is Diesel A/T ano kaya ang mga pwede kong ikabit o palitan para magmukhang pogi ang underhood, yung tipong maayos at malinis at makulay ang makina kapag binuksan yung hood...in short i want my car to bring its appeal and performance kahit na model 2003 siya.

Aray. Sayang sir, kung san san ako naghanap ng overrider nung December kasi puro crack na akin. Kaso wala ako nahanap kaya pina-epoxy at repaint ko nalang akin. Curious lang, how much are you selling your overrider? and in what condition and color is it now?

Kambal there is a shop in banawe that sells all kinds of spoiler, meron silang kagaya ng crosswind, i think its 3k, plus 500 for body color. . .

now if you prefer the OEM, its around 4k-5k, pero mahirap ang availability. . I just dont know sa casa. . .


Kambal how about an upgrade of 2010 sidemirror, with amber signal lights and autoretract function. . .

Share ko lang po.. We got our Crosswind XUV' 04 last year na nka-sportivo look na. I don't have idea how much po un conversion pero it really look nice. Napagkakamalan na tunay na sportivo until they see the two front-row seat.

Good day po... Kakukuha ko '10 XUV LE nung isang araw lang. Una kong auto 'to hindi ko alam kung papaano re: PMS sa 1.5K magkano kaya babayaran ko? Sabi kasi ng ahente free lang daw labor. Hindi nya alam kung magkanu aabutin pag PMS depende daw sa mga papalitan. Maliban sa engine oil at oil filter meron pa ba? Saka saan kaya magandang pagawa ng seat cover na corduroy at magkano? Medyo hindi maganda 'yong free nilang seat cover.
