Mga bros, i have a problem with the radiator of my 2003 Crosswind XUV. Nagbabawas na sya ng tubig. Ang estimate ko isang baso ang nababawas every morning. Kaya pa ba ng overhaul ito or palit na. Baka may suggestions po kayo ng reputable shops in las pinas alabang area for the overhaul. Thank you.

Coolant pa ba ang nakalagay sa radiator mo or just plain distilled water?

How sure are you na sa radiator nga ang may problema?

Sir, may leak lang yan. Mine is also 2003 model and I've done repairs too on my radiator. Nagpa-overhaul lang ako and repair with "tingga" para sa tagas. Kalokohan po iyung 4.5k na overhaul =)). Sagad na siguro ang 1500 para sa maayos na gawa. Though I can't recommend any shops for you since I'm from Cubao area. Hanap ka lang sir ng reputable shop. Madali lang yan.

Take note nga lang na sa fittings lang ang naging tagas ng sakin. Madali lang ma-repair ang ganun. The problem is, kung sa fins nga yan, ibang usapan na yun. From what my suki shop said, kapag doon daw ang tagas, maaaring palitin na nga. Better have it checked first.

How sure are you na sa radiator nga ang may problema?

Im using 50% water and 50% coolant. It was diagnosed in the CASA as having radiator leak coming fom the fins. The CASA is charging P4.5 k for the overhaul.

Good suggestion bros! I was able to have my radiator overhauled. We found out that the leak was not really from the fins. I only spent 1k for the overhaul and repair. I hope this will be a good long time fix. Been using my crosswind for 3 days now without refilling the radiator!

Had it overhauled and repaired at Prens in Alabang. Almost halfday to finish the job.
