And while an airbag system is a good feature that is better to have than to have not, it is not a 100%guarantee of safety.

But as to refinement, I'm not too particular about that aspect. It's true, it hasn't been updated. this new one has almost exactly the same setup inside to my 2010 xwind before and back then, that interior was already very dated. :p As to the workmanship, I don't think it's a poorly made vehicle, its very sturdy. And even it's infamous loud engine noise is not such a bad thing when you consider the benefits of having timing gears: less parts that need replacing. ;) It all boils down to what you need in a vehicle, really. For me it's a low maintenance, efficient and reliable platform that comes first. At most, I will only be sitting in it a couple of hours a day, I don't have to live in it. So even the "90's" interior is enough for me.

And while its 1M pricetag may at first seem to be high compared to others, in my experience, it more than pays itself back in the long run due to the fact that this will require lesser maintenance and it has cheap parts already available in the market. Had an innova before, did not have a good experience with all the trouble i had with it so, that was never a realistic choice for us to consider anymore. The MUX is also a very good car, we like it very much. However, just like the 87hp argument with the xwind, everyone seems to question why we're getting an underpowered 130+hp vehicle when we can get a 200hp one. :p lol, a lot of people never seem to be satisfied.

Suffice it to say, that beyond the specs you see on paper, it is ultimately how satisfied you are with your car choices that will matter. Everyone has different priorities and preferences and because of that, there will never be a single best choice to buy out there. The 2015 Sportivo MT and 2015 MUX AT are ours, and we are very happy with them. Peace!
Yup i respect your decisions. And also to all crosswind owners. Bemebenta pa rin e. Nakakahiya nga yung mga newly launch models na hindi malagpasan ang crosswind. Haha

On my 2014 cw, nagpalagay ako sa engine ng EFG and Blanked EGR. Changed my headlight bulbs to a brighter one kasi dark tint. Dash cam is very useful. Then just added anti-theft for side mirror and rain visors. Bought a tray for 3rd row para madali linisin.

Planning to put comfort shackles in the near future. (Bawas tagtag)

Clean/Wax your car every month or two for additional protection (interior and exterior). Then once in a while, clean your tail pipes.

    Hope this helps too.

I was recently tasked by our company to decide whether to get a Crosswind XT or an Innova J D4D for use by our sales people.

Not meaning to strike a debate, but here are the reasons why the winning points goes to the Innova J D4D:

    1. Airbags
    2. ABS
    3. 3-pt ELR safety belts on all seats (1st to 3rd row), except for the two center passengers which has a 2-pt safety belt. The Crosswind XT has three 2-pt safety belts on the 2nd row and none for the 3rd row
    4. 2nd row seats are 60-40 fold, tumble, slide and recline. Third row is 50-50 split, fold, tumble and recline. The Crosswind XT has a bench-type 2nd row and side-facing seats for the 3rd row
    5. Rides better (coil suspension)
    6. CRDi - More powerful and more efficient

The only things going for the XT are:
    1. Powered windows and locks
    2. Non-CRDi engine (cheaper to maintain)

Our company currently uses a 2007 or 08 entry-level Crosswind and recently had a major suspension repair worth over 20k. It's relatively cheap for a 7-8 year old MPV. But passenger comfort and safety at this trim level (up to the XT) is just not that great.

No body or engine work since under warranty pa and for me, the Sportivo already has a pretty good look compared to the other Crosswind variants. For my sportivo, I changed the headlamps to HID since I didn't like the the halogens, got a 2DIN headunit, dashcam, laminated the carpets and MAGIC 3M tint. That's all. Stock sound system could definitely use an upgrade but it could get expensive and I don't spend that much time in the car in order to merit the expense of upgrading.

    Hope this helps.
Mine is a Isuzu Sportivo 2009, It's quite old looking that's why I want to change something. I really would love to put some Sound system any recommendation?

Mine is an XTO AT at me turbo na. Mas mababa ang height ng XTO kesa sa ibang variant niya kaya maganda siya sa highway gamitin. Mine is sariwa pa kasi bihirang magamit before. Yup mura lan ang maintenance niya kasi old school siya unlike ng mga bagong labas na sasakyan ngayon.
