Unfortunately wla pkong ganung modification na nakikita para sa mga crosswind natin,,, sana magawan nila ng design na ung air filter ay nakalabas na,,, mas mabilis ang pasok ng hangin nun and for sure it will add more speed.....

With regards to reaching 120++kph, bigyan mo lang ng tamang bwelo bawat gear... mine is xuv 03 model napapatakbo ko pa sya paminsan minsan ng 120++.....

    Good Luck on your trial...
hi, it is actually possible to fabricate a stainless tube for a cone-type air filter. i will post my pics soon. i have a 2002 xtrm. seats filled with passengers with backload, 120km/h is easy. kaya pang mag 130 kaso ran out of road. a racing-type filter is actually possible for our crosswinds. dagdag lakas din if you use turbo diesel from petron or vpower diesel from shell.

I'm actually planning to use my racing filter for our 2008 xwind, pero yun nga wala pa kong nakikitang tubo na kakasya. mahal din kase yung filter nito eh (P600 sa edsa rotonda)

I got my filter sa Blade Shangrila. P1800 ang kuha. it comes with a stainless tube na. May free Blade sticker pa nga eh. ) you have two kinds of tubes to choose from. choose the long one with a short curve. it was too long so get a metal saw. fits perfectly. i will post my pics tomorrow. very possible DIY.

Thats interesting Sir JANVIOS. Kumusta performance?

I am using the stock air filter with a gadget (combustion enhancer) that is placed doon sa inside nung yellow part ng stainless tube na pinost mo. This gadget is designed to make air intake circulate well in all pistons (?). It results in more power lalo na sa acceleration when overtaking, at smoother ang takbo.

performance wise, noticeable agad ang extra hp. though its true na magiging mas maingay pa ang engine natin, doesnt matter since sanay na sa maingay. haha!

haven't tried that gadget of yours though. masasabi ko sa power na dagdag ng ganitong filter.. hmm lets put it this way. with a full load, 120kph is easy on slex. i can go faster but the road's just short.

    thanks!

im not sure kung pwede bilhin yung tubo seperately sa blade. but im suggesting to try and canvas ng ganung tubo sa mga gumagawa ng mufflers. measure the diameter nalang. i forgot eh sorry.

this 2011 im planning to change the exhaust pipes from manifold to tip. making it bigger and wider would simply give the engine more breathing room. i just figured that with this kind of filter, more air is being inhaled. now it needs more room to exhale.

goodluck on your project sir! ;)

ask ko lang po sana regarding backup sensor if normal ba to hear an initial long beep when you shift to reverse? I was expecting kase to just hear a short beep telling you that backup sensor has been activated. It's been like this since I acquired the vehicle, kahit walang obstruction, nakakahiya sa mga passengers ko coz talagang masakit sa tenga. the rest of the beeps naman works normally when detecting obstructions.

hello to all tsikoteers!!Happy new year to all!!

    Sir Benz and All Gurus...

tanong lang kung ano ang maximum diameter ng brake drum ng crosswind (rear)?ano po kaya ang max diameter nito due for replacement?saka nagsqueak na ang brake lining ko sa likod eh eventhough not using the brakes..indicating na manipis na lining..mga ilang months pa kaya pwede itagal nun? and lastly magkano po kaya set nun including the drum sa Jaysons or sa Casa?thanks po...

    hello po ulit..

    hello sir Benz..

I hope you could address my problem to your Isuzu friends and contacts...bale yung bench type po kasi na upuan sa front ng crosswind ko (XT 05) ay napunit yung leather niya sa back then upon checking may flat bar that serve as back support na napakatalim or talas ng edges niya kaya napunit yung leather niya (around 24 inches).
