yo guys, happy new year to all xwind owners out there.
ung aking 09xuv, after ng 1500 pms nya, i tried ihataw sa nlex, napa-abot ko hanggang 130kph bukas ang aircon, mas smooth pa nga ang takbo kesa sa low-speed.
wala tayo magagawa sa vibrations kasi nga timing 'gear' sila, and nasa low-end ang gearing ratio kaya medyo mabagal pumik-up pero malakas ang tourque nya(utility vehicle talaga)pero hinay-hinay lang guys sa pagpapatakbo, better safe than sorry dba?
alagaan na lang natin mga xwinds natin, para wag madurog ang makina at mag-serbisyo sya nang matagal, and hanga talaga ako sa tipid nila, palagay ko nothing can beat isuzu on that.
mabuhay ang isuzu owners.........![]()
gud pm, bago lang po ako dito, ask ko lang yung problema na crosswind xuvi ko, model 2005, nag on na lang bigla ang break light, di naman nakaandar, pati yung park light naka off , i tried i off sa remote di naman na off, kaya ang ginawa ko tinanggal ko na lang ang fuse, nung binalik ko ulit, same story ayaw ulit mag off ang break light ano kaya ang problema nun, salamat...
Have you owned this XUVi since new or was it bought 2nd hand? Reason I'm asking is baka may grounded na wire that causes this "glitch"... specially if 2nd hand nyo nabili yan, you would not exactly know what mods the previous owner did on the car that may be causing this.
Eitherway, I would still recommend you to have your Crosswind checked by a trusted and reputable electrician/shop. Electrical yan... not something to belittle.![]()
thank you so much po sa info, dadalhin ko na lang sya sa electrician.
check the brake pedal. there should be a push switch near its other end that when the brake pedal is not pressed, the switch should be pressed. normally, merong rubber thing na nakadikit dun sa brake pedal arm mo that depresses that switch, sometimes due to old age, kumukunat yun and nadudurog. check mo yun baka natanggal na. I encountered this problem with my civic last year and what I did was to put a screw in place of the rubber thing. That solved the problem pero medyo may tunog lang pag bigla ko binibitiwan yung pedal. In any case, call mo na kung reremedyuhan mo na lang or dadalin sa casa to buy the OEM part. goodluck!
I own a 2002 XUVi A/T. Nabili ko ito last December 21, 2009. Mga 2 weeks pa lang sa akin. Siguro noong una nag aadjust pa ako.
I was able to try the italian tune up just last weekend at NLEX, going to bataan.. Upon entering NLEX i felt medyo sakal ang takbo ng crosswind ko so what I did was to stop at the first Petron station going north then had my Air Filter cleaned, after that ramdam ko na ung hatak sandali ko lang nareach ang 145.. saka di masyadong maingay ang makina unlike ung ibang takbo ko.. I think kailangan ko na magpalit din ng Air Filter..
Can anyone recommend a good Air Filter for Crosswind?
try niyo ung mga aftermarket...
btw kanina may nakita ako sa nlex sportivo naipit sa van at bus.. halos madurog ung sportivo
hello to all,
just have a question regarding tire pressure ( psi ) for crosswind XL which rides on 185/80 R14 tires... the recommend tire pressure chart located at the side on the driver's door indicates the following psi:
front tires - 27psi
rear tires - 47psi
is this supposed to be followed exactly?
or should we follow the recommended tire psi from the tire manufacturer?
(which i still do not have accurate data from yokohama )
it seems that the 27psi in front might be too soft while the 47psi at the rear is a little too hard.
i've heard other people putting a uniform 36psi in all 4 tires in XL's while others put 32psi in all 4 tires of sportivos ( which rides on 235's )
any input will be greatly appreciated. many thanks.
btw sirs,
i believe our unit came out of the dealer without any undercoating provided. they did not include this since they gave add'l discount.
any advice regarding undercoating & rustproofing for crosswind?
Ok ba sa ziebart? i think it'll cost around 10k for what they call complete rustproofing package.
kung undercoat lang... around 3.5k
