    hi everybody,

    i've been reading this forum for sometime now. I'm planning to buy a ride maybe next month but I'm taking it slow coz' I still have to gather some info from this forum. Alterra is one of my choices now.

    same here about sa bodyworks ng isuzu. sa xwind namin dami na bumigay like the front garnish, rear spoiler and the hinges on the driver side na door. some say kahit sa mga dmax. so baka alterra din. no offense. pero if your more on city drivings less lang sa province cguro pede na rin.

    was listening to the alterras' sound system yesterday and I found it really ok. the owner changed the stereo to JVC and added a monitor up front. Guess what the drivers side LCD was not working also. we checked it out and found out the connector was not properly fused together. The unit was 2 days old only. The installer must be in a hurry as the ICE on the alterra is from a supplier outside of Isuzu.

    Guys,

    feel ko malampit na ma-approve loan ko sa BPI.
    Tapos na ako i-C.I. at pumunta na din dito sa bahay for some inspection.

    Then humingi na din ng C.O.E. and latest payslip.

    By the way, BPI Family Bank pala ako nag-apply sa advice na din ng Isuzu Alabang (Both owned by Ayala).

    Konti na lang at tingin ko ma-approve na ang loan.

    Baka may mga further advice pa kyo about the bank and Isuzu Alabang.

    Alterra na talaga kinuha namin.
    Ung Fortuner and Sta Fe kasi maliit na space sa likod pag naka-unfold ung 3rd Row seat.

    Primary use namin is for travelling ng buong pamilya and dpat may space pa for luggage.

    Santa Fe na sana kaso yon nga, la na space sa likod pag unfolded ung 3rd Row Seat.

    Then Alterra lang ang medyo naka-taas ang pwet kaya pag loaded na, papantay na sya.

    Pero the Santa Fe and Fortuner, pag loaded parang eroplano na. Nakataas na ung nguso.

    Siguro kung City Driving lang and nearby towns baka we went for Santa Fe.

    Doon sa mga SUV na more expensive but bigger, out of budget naman.

    You really have to choose your car based on your intended use.

    does any one own the 2004 alterra na 2.0 sound system??? pwede b malaman kung meron b kayong roof rack.. the black bar on the roof that goes vertical on your roof rail...

    meron bang model ang alterra na 2.0 sound system? ano ibig sabihin nung 2.0 sound system?

    dats the sound system na meron lang 6 speakers.. instead of the 12 speaker system... parang yan ang basic sa mga altera sa mga first na lumabas...

    sir ano po yung bagong alterra ngayun sa market. malaki po ba ang kaibahan sa mga older models ng alterra, i mean 2007 po ba yan or 2008. bago lang po kasi me dito sa tsikot & im planning to buy one SUV and i think i preffered alterra at yung latest sana.

    tipid tlga sa diesel... Greetings all... i have a question... kasi i own an isuzu alterra 07 its about the video amp is it really just a daichi? dba dpat clarion dn? its located under the front passenger seat.. tnx sa magreply...

    talaga bang ok ang alterra? kasi namimili ako between 2008 Isuzu Alterra A/t, 2008 Ford Everest 2.5 A/t and Toyota Fortuner 2.5 ... Hindi pa kasi ako nakakapag decide masyado kasi eh. Thanks!

    Kung FC? Alterra na. mas matipid compared sa Fort 2.5 at Everest 2.5
    Kung Ride? Alterra pa rin. Mas smooth ang ride ng Alterra para sa akin
    Overall performance - Alterra na rin. mas subok ko na rin ito. Yung sa aking 129T Km na ang natatakbo without any major problems...

    eh how about the smoke of this thing? ilang km bago sya magsimulang umusok at bumaba ang fuel eff nito? sana mas maraming magreply na may alterra 2005 kasi siguradong mas marami nang exp ang sasakyan nila.

    Bro, basta i-follow mo lang ang maintenance schedule para maiwasan ang maitim na usok. Kahit anong Diesel engine naman iyan, Hyundai, Kia, Toyota etc... kung walang maintenance iitim talaga ang usok. Okay pa naman ang Fuel efficiency na nakukuha ko. naka depende din FC sa driving mo.
