October 17th, 2009 03:36 PM #83thanks sa reply... by the way kailangan ko na din pala magpalit ng break pads sa harap pudpod na daw at nakita ko mejo manipis na nga. Kaya bang I-DIY to? Madali lang ba? Nakita ko na kasi binaklas yung break calipers last week, mukhang madali naman, at nagbasa basa ako sa net, kaya naman daw. Ano po suggestion nyo? First time kasi, kung sakali ako magpalit ng break pads. Salamat.

pre, may nag claim na ng 160kph sa crosswind, si jondy yata yung username nya. pero full speed on a downhill highway yata sya somewhere in mindanao. at lampas redline na daw sya. I think he even showed a video of his feat. ako up to 145 kph kinaya sa flat portions ng SCTEX pero bagsak speed to 110kph sa uphill portions.

kaya yan pre, basta meron kang heavy duty (not china made) wrenches, 14mm, 10mm, 12mm yata karamihan ng bolts and one 24mm wrench kasi there's this big 24mm bolt that you unscrew dun sa likod ng brake caliphers para mag swing upwards yung brake calipher para matanggal mo yung inner brake pads. better also kung meron kang alligator jack and steel stands, although a good hydraulic jack will do, ingat na lang sa pagpwesto nya. handa ka din ng pantulak dun sa brake piston na tumulak dun sa brake pads, yun pointed metal na pangtuklap ng wheel hub pwede na yun. You'll also need to partially empty the brake fluid reservoir para di tumapon yung brake fluid, then shempre, bili ka ng brake fluid pang top-up. then kelangan mo din ng partner pag nagbleed ka ng ng brake mo, yung "bumpa! pirmis!" action :D
if you dont gets what i mean dun sa bleeding, better take your car to the nearest gas station, saglit lang yan, la pa one hour tapos yan, 30 minutes siguro for a highly skilled mechanic. watch closely para matutunan mo, then next time, alam mo na. hth ;)

my ex 02 xto limited edition chameleon green has 98t+ km reading. i did not know the problem until just recently. solution is just a simple calibration/cleaning of the injectors
. problem ko kasi nun para kulang power ng makina at yong idle is nakaka badtrip "you know what i mean". right now my 03 xuv has 78t+ km reading and everything is perfect except that it needs a washover. im surprised kasi mabilis sya at di pahuhuli sa arangkada. im thinking of putting some aftermarket turbo on this one. if meron ano kaya brand and magkano?

January 20th, 2010 10:43 PM #892003 Crosswind XUV - 135K Kilometers :D
Still doing 11-12 Kilometers/Liter, on mixed highway and city driving (Meycauayan, Bulacan to Ayala, Makati).
Can still overtake some cars and other AUVs when going up to Baguio. :D

Ang ideal turbo charging will increase more or less 20% of output power dapat.
my one cent unsolicited advise alng po
you apply lang sa mga outlines at crevices ng emblem na may nanigas na dumi... ok na yan, make...
