Check mo rin pala yung 4WD niya pag ni road test mo pakinggan mo for any garalgal sounds. Check mo yung hi and low, hatawin mo rin baka lumabas yung mga tunog sa higher speeds.

k bro thanks, i'll print ur post and bring it while hunting for trooper.LOL... napansin ko nga sa mga post dito they praise the 4jg mdl and criticize the 4jx1... d ko kelangan ang super bilis 120kph is my max. ano bang kaya ang max speed ng trooper 4jg2? I'm favoring Blue color na ipapa monotone color para mas elegant looking....
k bro i'll do that... ano bang speed ang hataw na sa trooper, coz im not a fast driver baka kasi sa pakiramdam ko eh mabilis na un pala d pa yon... hehehe joke...LOL thanks
Bro,
Tamang tama yan for your requiremment. Pang marathon hindi pang sprint ang engine. Resistence and endurance ang labanan. Thats also the main strenght of diesel engines. 4JG2-TC UBS69 ang designation niyan.
Road test is important, pagkatapos mo kilatisin yung interior, yung makina for any tell tale aromas and smoke, yung mga electrical kung gumagana lahat at walang amoy sunog pag binuksan o mga punding ilaw. Sa road test kasi masusubukan yung feel mo sa sasakyan tsaka yung performance at talagang kung made for each other kayo ng auto mo. Parang chicks pag natikman mo dun mo malalaman kung para kayo sa isat isa. Mweheheeh
kaya ng trooper 140kph. pero mas ok yung 80-90kph driving para mas tipid sa fuel.Originally Posted by cyrusblutrooper

just wondering mga bro accurate ba ung mga speedometer ng ating mga auto... does changing the size of wheels and tires affect the accuracy of our speedometer..? just asking...
1 thing mga bro na important for me to know is the Intercooler Turbo of the troopers. how can i know na its working properly... ano bang rpm nya bago siya gumana... reliable turbine di ba madaling masira? want your guidance on this matter..
i think turbos should last as long or even longer than your engine will do as long as you take care of it,just follow the cool down process religiously and itll always be in good shape. Some require cleaning it as part of preventive maintenance, some shops (like cruven) offer cleaning for a price (around 2-3k) and those who have tried it have had good feedback.
HTH
Sorry Medyo off topic
Beetols, San yung cruven? 12 years na yung MPV ko so I am planning to do a major service siguro one of this is having turbo cleaned since dami na mga libag.
thanks.
Here is their website...

good luck bro
