    The problem is parts replacement.

The Hover doesn't use an actual Isuzu engine... it's a copy... like Foton's. So caveat emptor... you will be able to find replacement parts, as long as they didn't change the bore, stroke or valve design... but you don't know how reliable the stock engine is.

The second problem is where to get chassis and suspension parts. It's based on the Toyota 4Runner... so it might be possible to fit 4Runner underchassis parts to it... but the question is, obviously... how much of what you save over, say, the Fortuner 2.5, will be spent in maintenance in the first three years?

I'm not saying it'll be crap, but reliability is a great unknown, as of yet...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Ito na nga hindi ko maintidihan sa Isuzu eh?

Kung kaya ng mga Chinese copycats maglagay ng ABS, airbag, etc. at a 4x4 option on these type of vehicle without raising the price significantly, why can't Isuzu? They can always use the the old reliable engines, drivetrain, and suspension parts from previous generation vehicles.

Just imagine this could have been the new generation Sportivo.

What you're seeing is the high end chinese Hoover. With a 2.8L Isuzu engine fitted in the hoover, this makes the vehicle's engine as reliable as the crosswind.

The only question now is the under chasis. But the way the hoover is price then I'm sure the vehicle is classed as "AA" in china and is highly reliable.

sir niky said that the engine is only a copy so reliability is still a question mark

materials use for the engine could be sub standard
