April 18th, 2017 07:50 PM #9561I've been doing a lot of research about that oil catch can. But i must say, it got me more confused on whether it will be beneficial to install or not. May nagsasabi na di na kailangan as it will just damage the pistons and other stuff in the long run. May nagsasabi naman na kailangan to protect naman the turbo..
Mga sir, any comments po sa mga naginstall/magiinstall sa mux nyo ng oil catch can, or for those na walang plano maglagay nun.., ano po reason nyo for your decision. Thanks po for your inputs.

April 18th, 2017 08:17 PM #9562Para sakin no need na to install occ. Hindi naman prone ang isuzu na dumihin ang turbo. Yung alterra ko na same engine sa current mux wala pa na open sa engine at sa turbo more than 100k na natakbo. mga mitsubishi suv madalas mag lagay ng occ.

Yes sa customer cradle in laspinas all plastic cover will be remove magdala ka na lang ng 3m under coat paint. Sample pic.

April 18th, 2017 11:56 PM #9567Installed one on my unit at around 2k km odo reading. I'm currently at 10k and i have drained around 750ml of black oil. I don't want that oil condensing inside the intake manifold especially when EGR valve is open.
Side note: not all OCCs are made the same. Some are more effective at "catching".
