montero though a decade old is still a good vehicle- remember this is the mid size suv that rocked the whole mid size suv world.
when the 1st gen fort was new the old mux(alterra) tried to beat it sales with a nice package entertainment system(same thing their doing now against the tbz) - did it work- rarely do i see those first gen alterra as against the fort. mas madami pang sportivo which is talo naman ng innova
my point is, dont be such a crap arse, it's a good thing that isuzu is making mitsubishi, toyota and others on their toes.
if the others cant wait don't bash them up(the engine of the mux is even or as older than the montero? so why lambast?)
there will eventually be a newer vehicle down the line. so guys shut the fanboi crap.
on a good note since the engine is old- i bet like the monty it will have less problems since it's a proven platform.
only the apperance and additional niceties change but not it's heart im not saying it's bad but same for the monty
i hate all fanboi
as i've said again i will also buy an mux but not now, when all the dealers are greedy, who knows there might be another suprised contender... nissan terrano
Yup its not fishy. Yung mga cars pag medyo luma na yung model kaya mo talaga makadiscount. Pagalingan nalang maghaggle. Alam ko few months ago kaya na nila magbigay ng 100k+ discount sa mont. Tapos yung eve kaya hanggang 150k. Yung fortuner ang wala. Hehe.
To protect their market share I guess Mitsu will try to offer big discounts. This is usually the first step taken by the market leader to protect its market share. Its much better for them to earn a small margin compared to losing the sale. I'm also guessing or assuming that since the platform is already 10 years old nabawi na ng mitsu ang investment nila kaya they can offer steep discounts.
Since the market here is price sensitive and i'm betting since people aee often awash with cash the last quarter of the year madami ang matetempt to look elsewhere than wait a couple of months to get theor units
kaya pala yung Tb ay hindi masyado bumenta up to now. Ewan ko lang ang Isuzu. Natakot yata sila mag stock up ng MU X prior to launching dahil nag negative sila ng 2 months yata nung 1st or 2nd quarter of this year sa monthly sales compared to their sales on the same month last year.
3 months daw backlog ayon dito sa thread dun sa 4X2 AT, so expecting mas matagal pa sa bank p.o. kasi uunahin nila at uubusin muna ang inhaus financing, by the time na dumating unit mo, parating na rin ang everest at yung iba pa. hehe. ubos na customer ng isuzu, kaya yung makakahintay ay either kunin na ang unit nila or lumipat na.
They forecasted a conservative 2014 year sale. 2000 to be exact. Its a new product. They cannot be too optimistic since 2015 is too near. Also its a in-demand vehicle in southeast asia. You cannot stock this vehicle. Only way to meet demand is Isuzu set up a assembly plant in PH.
i won't budge with the inhaus financing, 4-6K a month kaya yun, sayang din maiipon mo dyan. kanila na ang mu x. baka pagdating ng march maghahabol na sila. then by next half ng 2015 negative na ulit ang sales sa month compare last year nila. bagal kasi, meron pa nalalamang paconservative sa forecast, eh papaano aangat isuzu sa ranking kung di sila magiging aggressive, talo pa sila ng ford, chevy at hyundai kahit marami problems.
does not look good anymore to those waiting... 700 lang a month ang delivery from the initial 500 sa thailand, eh 2000 ang backlog nila. it is still 3 months the new normal, papaano pa kaya ang bank p.o.?
