Mga sir, sa mga nakakuha na unit.. may nakasubok na ba sa inyo kung ano ang top speed ng mu-x (stock) natin?
cash din ang transaction ko. But they want to get the insurance from them. Balintawak wants 38k for insurance. Which is 28k sa labas. Yun 10k is d.i. na yun. Sa makati bigay nila 29k insurance which is fair enough for me. But d ko alam kung kailan marelease. Cno yun sa mo sa imus. Pa pm nalang ng no. Thx
Third thread in tsikot that I've posted and monitored in the last three months. Initially wanted the new Navara 4x4 but was not impressed when I took it for a test drive. The TOTL has all the specs I wanted but I just wasn't comfortable driving it. Sayang talaga.
Next option was the new Chevy LTX or TBZ SE. Would have gotten this already but people's negative perception of Chevy vehicles and after sales service was overwhelming. Spoke to a friend who also recently bought a TBZ 4x4 and while he was happy with the high engine HP and the unit itself, he would not recommend it as a first priority. Same reasons above.
The new Everest is out of the question since mahal daw yung pricing ng new models and their after sales isn't exactly great. Hindi ko na rin mahintay ang Fort or Monty, aside from the fact that I am dismayed with the bare features it comes with (Monty has slightly better features though).
What wasn't a serious option was the 4x2 LSA MUX due to the supply situation. Two weeks ago, my wife and I decided to test drive it when we happened to pass by one of the isuzu dealerships. We both fell in love with it. The test drive unit had the stock 17" wheels and it was so comfortable to drive. Eto yung mga rare cases na fit na fit sayo yung sasakyan and feels very comfortable. We knew this was what we wanted, if only may available stock. It does not feel underpowered at all, unlike what some of the haters say. I have a grandia which only has 102hp but it can haul a full load to baguio. Features are better than those in the same class, but I hoped it had HID or LED projectors and fogs.I'd say it really is a value for money vehicle.
Anyway, I'm already supposed to get my 4x2 LSA today but the Agent called last minute kasi wala pa daw CSR. Unit is already at the plant though and will be released next Friday. I'm using a bank PO and was not made to buy insurance or pay additional DI. They however just asked me to buy some of the accessories from them and I chose *25k worth (step sill cover, hood protector, visor, spare tire cover, mid resr spoiler, etc). Based on outside pricing, the casa prices were probably more expensive by * 6-8k. Not bad though, considering I've spoken with the SA just last week. Probably just got lucky since pinakiusapan lang din yung SA ng friend ko na dealer ng ibang auto brands.
Btw, I won't get my preferred color na pearl white and will be getting a black unit instead.
Just be wary of opportunistic salesmen. I know someone who paid for the MUX in cash but gave in to the agent for a set of wheels at 100k.
Kaya siguro none of the 3 dealers i have contacted nung March pa - Pangasinan, Cabanatuan, Alabang - has contacted me yet although each one promised to update me re availability of the LSM MT. I am buying cash, but I made clear to them that I wont give in to any 'extras' such as DI, accesories, casa insu, etc.
If this puts me least in the last priority, so be it. In fact, should any dealer tells me na puwede na... I am now thinking of also imposing a no-plates-no-pay demand.
Nabasa ko rin ang full article na ito somewhere... if i remember it right, it is mentioned therein na LAHAT nang galing sa Thailand. I didnt realize then na ito rin pala ung MUx dito??
Btw, don't assume that pickup-up based SUVs will be hot sells or will enjoy the same market share in 2016 up, as before,
Statistic shows that more young people are looking for crossovers than heavy to drive pickup SUVs.
I myself drive two pickup up based SUVs and if you really want my opinion, ayoko na, suko na ako.
The congestion, the overpopulation, simple things like parking, going to grocery, even going up to mall ramps, nakaka pagod na.
I'm planning to replace it with HRV and CX3 once it becomes mainstream. I learned this when I visited Japan. When I was there, how come the Japanese will all their wealth don't use their truck SUVs in Tokyo and Osaka, Then it dawned to me, Kaya sila wealthy coz their mind is less clutter. Driving efficient mini vehicles contribute to ther well-being
